We can't praise Damien enough. He has been brilliant from our first contact with him. As stated in other reviews his attention to detail is amazing! He explained everything to us and his work on the day was exceptional. We have had our underfloor heating now for 3 years and it has been one of the best things we had done in the house.

We recently had an issue underneath the underfloor heating (not related to the underfloor heating) and Damien managed to fix it without needing to cut any of our underfloor heating pipes - fantastic!

Damien has been great to work with from beginning to end. I was initially quite sceptical with doing such a big project of retrofitting underfloor heating throughout the house but Damien was reassuring, professional and very well informed of the products he supplies. He provided detailed plans and instructions and was always punctual with supplying the materials. We installed the system as diy novices ourselves. He came to check up on us and always was a phone call away which was really reassuring. He has liaised with tradespeople fitting our flooring to ensure they are doing it according to the underfloor heating guidelines. The project is now complete and it has been a game changer having the underfloor heating. I can not recommend Damien and Variotherm enough.

We had such a positive experience with Variotherm UK. From the very first contact, Damien was extremely professional and approachable. He even travelled all the way from Yorkshire to Manchester just for our initial discussion, where he listened carefully and understood all our requirements. Not long after, he came back to us with a clear quote and detailed designs, which gave us real confidence in the project.

Our installation was for both upstairs and downstairs, and Damien even helped us choose the right type of flooring for each level to make sure we got the very best results from the underfloor heating. Throughout the whole process he was always there for us – just a phone call away whenever we had any doubts or questions. He made sure all the parts arrived well in advance, and he spoke to the installers beforehand so everything ran smoothly. What really stood out was how involved he was throughout, guiding the installers step by step and making sure nothing was overlooked.

Thanks to Damien’s thoroughness and support, the whole process felt stress-free, and the installation was completed to a really high standard. We’re absolutely delighted with the end result and couldn’t recommend Damien and Variotherm UK highly enough!

We had underfloor heating put in while we were remodelling the ground floor of our house and it has been one of the best decisions we made. The system is super easy to use and the house is always nice and warm (and it's lovely under your feet too!). Damien's knowledge and experience in this sector was evident throughout the process and he offered a great service. Would definitely recommend.

Can't speak highly enough of the product, price and particularly the support Varioheat give. Installing UFH throughout our house by myself Damien has gone out of his way to help, being kind, patient and hugely knowledgeable. Doing our house up we have had a lot of different contractors in and it can be intrusive and annoying - Damien has been one of only 2 contractors that I would consider to have given us perfect service.

Damien is very thorough and professional he is also very customer focussed on getting the job done right. We had the whole of our ground floor installed with underfloor heating which damien provided. It’s made such a difference to the space and has eliminated previous cold areas. The floor has been down for a year and a few weeks ago we had a problem with each of our three thermostats losing Wi-Fi connection. I contacted Damien and he came out of his way without delay and fixed the problem.

Our project was only a small installation in conjunction with a extension refurbishment. Damien went above and beyond working with our builder (inexperienced in underfloor heating) giving good advice, helping him where needed, showing how to install and then commission the system. The builder has used Damien?VarioHeat himself twice since as a result and that says it all!

Having decided to downsize to a new home and having time to carry out modifications before we moved in it seemed a good idea to free up wall space by replacing the radiators for underfloor heating.

Damien was recommended by friends that had a system installed by him and he came out to carry out a survey and advise/recommend what we needed, he is very knowledgeable and filled me with confidence that all the design and technical support would be carried out by himself and with the time available the system would be relatively easy to install myself which is what I decided to do.

Damien carried out the calculations and produced good quality pipe layout drawings which together with his ongoing advice turned out to be indispensable as the project progressed.
I installed the underfloor heating system in our new house covering the whole of the ground floor using approximately 320m of pipe. Damiens availability throughout the installation was fantastic all the way through the project including commissioning and testing stage.

The heating system is quiet, efficient and comfortable and I would strongly recommend Damien and Varioheat to anyone considering underfloor heating.

I was recommended Varioheat by a friend who had used them in the past. It also turned out a few more people I know had used Varioheat and were very happy with the product and service they received.

I decided to contact Damien who was very helpful and knowledgeable. He talked through what system I would need and any advice I wanted.

After a bit of bad planning on my part I needed my equipment in a hurry and Damien went above and beyond to make sure I had it all on time. I installed the pipe work myself so the screed could be added at short notice and Varioheat installed my manifold at a later date, yet again providing an excellent service.

After my installation had been in a while and other plumbing jobs had taken place in the house I felt cold spots on the floor. I rang Damien who came out to do a survey of the floor using the Flir camera which confirmed I did indeed have cold spots which had been caused by air getting into the system whilst I had carried out the plumbing works. Damien explain to me how this could be avoided in the future and how to rectify the issue myself if I wished to do so.

Overall I highly recommend these guys. They really go out of their way to make sure the product is delivered and the job is done properly.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Vario heat ltd to install underfloor heating and cannot express enough gratitude for their outstanding service. From start to finish the experience was seamless and I would highly recommend it to others.

Doing a self build with different trades can honestly be such a rollercoaster. But Damien honestly was at the top. Its so refreshing to have someone that is so trustworthy, knowledgeable and able to think outside the box. He is also one of the nicest guys you'll meet.
There was a few fairly unique things that I wanted from our heating system. I wanted underfloor heating downstairs. Upstairs I wanted in wall heating. Honestly I would highly recommend the wall heating when you walk past it, it's like being given a lovely warm hug. It's such a lovely comfortable heat that's easy to control. No need for massive radiators upstairs or unnecessary heat loss through floors. It just looks like a normal wall youd never know. I also wanted a walled heating panel in my wall in the utility room it's sits up high where my victorian style pulley airer is. Its amazing at saving space and dries all the clothes so fast. Damien is very upto date with the latest products and technology and gave us a heating system that's able to heat and cool.
We have a air source heat pump and our house is always lovely and warm (I like it 21.5 - 22c) we have it on 24/7 and our heating bills are very reasonable especially how warm I like it. Hes also very reasonably priced. I really appreciate what an easy experience it was from the start to the finish. (We have used Damiens services on a few different projects).

From the initial meeting Damien was very informative and professional, and wasted no time designing and quoting for our underfloor heating system. Damien spent a lot of time fully explaining everything to us about the underfloor heating system and the quote, which we really appreciated as this was all completely new to us.

We had quite a lot of preparation to do before we were ready for Damien to come and a make a start. Damien kept in touch with us throughout this time, checking in to see how we were getting on. During prep works we had a few alterations to be made and Damien was always quick to react to these and amend his plans. As soon as our build was ready for him he was there. When delivery all the kit, he gave us some excellent demonstrations and guidance of how to install.

We have had lots of comments from other contractors working on the house complimenting how tidy and meticulous the work was. Our screed contractor even said it was some of the best work he had seen. Our main builder contractor asked us for Damien’s details after seeing the work and hearing how professional and friendly he was.

We can’t thank Damien enough for all of his help. When carrying out a large house renovation it really stands out when you find genuine contractor to work with who wants to help. He saved us alot of money which is always a bonus!!

I highly recommend VarioHeat Ltd, After many hours of research into heating systems for our self build house we came across Damien at VarioHeat. He designed the full system including underfloor heating downstairs, walled heating in the bedrooms (to avoid the need for radiators) and variocomp system in the en-suite. This was all to be connected to an Air Source Heat Pump using modern plastic manifolds to prevent condensation should we wish to utilise the cooling mode.
The walled heating and plastic manifolds was new to us having never seen it before, being an engineer I can be hard to please but Damien was really accommodating and took the time to answer all our questions. There was zero pressure or pushy sales tactics he just honestly wanted to design the best system to suit our needs and budget. After this we visited his office where you can see all the different systems installed and working, it was then clear that the VarioTherm components are exceptional quality and superior to traditional systems.
Now after living with the system for a full year I can without doubt say that the system is performing well above our expectations, The house maintains a constant 21 degrees even in winter with a water flow temperature of 30-35 degrees which allows the air source heat pump to achieve an efficiency of just over 400% on average. The Underfloor Heating is wonderful but the radiant heat you feel from the walled heating panels have turned out to be our favourite part.

After living in a house with underfloor heating previously, I knew when I bought my house I wanted the same. There is no other feeling like walking on lovely warm floors throughout the winter months.

After buying my house and asking friends and family for recommendations, I contacted Damien to come and install underfloor heating throughout the whole house and I could not be more pleased with the results. Damien is helpful and friendly and thoroughly explains all you would need to know. He is happy to answer any questions you have and worked very hard to ensure the whole system was installed as soon as possible.

Damien installed a retrofit underfloor heating system in the ground floor of our new townhouse covering kitchen-diner, hallway and WC. Approx. 32sqm. Communication was excellent from the start of the project with thorough advice on specification and floor preparation. He kept to the proposed schedule which allowed us to keep the whole project time and costs down. Great commissioning and follow-up policy to get the system running after the tiling had been completed.

I would recommend Damien and Varioheat to anyone. The heating system is extremely efficient and comfortable. The UFH is very quiet and allowed us to reclaim valuable floor and wall space by removing all four radiators. Damien helped us to realise a very successful project which has added to the utility and value of our property.

We employed Damien recently to install a full underfloor heating system in our new house, approx 125 sq metres. He visited several times and explained the process we would go through from preparing the flooring, laying the concrete boards, pipework, filling compound and installing the manifolds and control systems. He was patient with the many questions we had, and repeated explanations when we didn't quite get it the first and second time around.

He worked really long hours on the hottest days of the year to make sure the job was finished in time for our next contractor to start work. It is clear he is a perfectionist and I am confident he wouldn't have done a better job in his own house.

He was always quick to manage any queries we had prior, during and even after the system had been installed.

We would not hesitate to recommend Damien and Varioheat to any of our friends and family.
