The battery life is less than advertised. Promised weight was 66 lbs. Delivery weight 87 lbs. I asked a question earlier about rear wheel wobble & instability to crickets chirping. I wanted... See more

Freya and TrustPilot have excellent…
Freya and TrustPilot have excellent customer service! I could not find a kickstand for the Varla Eagle 1, as they make room for the Varla Eagle 1 Pro. I sent a message through TrustPilot as a last resort, and later that day received a link for the item in my email that I could pay directly. This is after searching on my own through various websites and thinking I would never find it. Top-notch service and I appreciate it. Thank you you, Freya!

I decided to purchase a VARLA Eagle One…
I decided to purchase a VARLA Eagle One V2.0. Unfortunately the first one arrived damaged in shipping and it would not turn on. Via email I contacted VARLA and after following simple protocols they arranged for a pick up of
the damaged scooter and sent a brand new replacement. I communicated with
Sylvia who always was responsive and helpful. She is very professional, friendly, and pleasant to deal with. She always recognized me on a personal level. I never got a feeling of just being another nameless customer. Sylvia thank you for treating me so well.

Happy with purchase of two units
I purchased two units. After getting one, I had to call to remind them that I ordered two. They solved the issue and sent the second unit. No issues otherwise. Thanks!
They have good after-sales service
They have good after-sales service. They offer affordable prices on their scooters.
best scooter in its price range.
I found Varla through a friend
I found Varla through a friend, I was a little skeptical about buying it because of the reviews. I took the chance and bought one with an accessory. The scooter arrived but the accessory didn’t, so I wrote an email and got connected to Sylvia. She was very helpful, but unfortunately told me that the accessory I ordered wasn’t in stock and wouldn’t not be restocked. I was pretty disappointed that they took my money but never notified me about the out of stock product. Sylvia offered many solutions to my problem, and offered me a refund with a free gift. Overall I had a pretty good experience with the scooter and the company so far. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy an electric scooter.
Shipping issues handled efficiently
Had some issues with the scooter being shipped within the expected time frame, so I reached out to customer support and Sylvia was able to help me out with speeding up the process. I’m so excited to get to riding!
Great customer service
Great customer service, Sylvia was wonderful and managed to get us a spare part from Asia as we are located in Australia and couldnt source the spare part there. quick delivery too
No muss
No muss, No Fuss. There wasn't anything to go wrong, so they couldn't really show off how they would respond to a problem.
Best Customer Service
It's a good scooter company but had an issue when I first got my scooter out of the box. I aired up the tires. I noticed the front tire went flat when I got to work. So I ran through some soapy water to check any holes but there weren't any. So I was thinking 🤔 maybe the company put the seal on wrong so I bought new ones to replace them. But overall I was emailing Sylvia the customer service department (CSD). And she was a great person, very responsive and respectful! 😊
Varla Eagle 2.0
Got the Varla Eagle 2.0, amazing quality, very solid and well built.
Had some issues with one of the controllers, but I contacted support and they were able to help me with no issues, and sent me a replacement. All thanks to Sylvia from the support team for the help and great communications.
Highly recommended!
Varla Customer Support prompt
I have contacted Varla Customer Support recently for two issues, I needed a new tire and before that I needed a new charging port. Both times the company responded promptly and were able to get me what I needed. Thanks Freya!
No Updates, Poor Delivery, No Credit Refund
Firstly, with no update info, the delivery was delayed almost a month. Secondly, FedEx, contrary to popular opinion, made the delivery point virtually inaccessible—they will not store given the lithium battery and the scooter was bandied around to different locations. I requested the scooter be returned—I have yet to receive a follow-up with this company nor a credit for the scooter. Friends, find a different scooter with a reliable company that cares about your dollars. It sure ain’t this one.
I haven't received my rotors
I haven't received my rotors. My autistic child depends on this. Where are the brake rotors???

So far have had nothing but good things…
So far have had nothing but good things to say about their customer service and actions regarding queries about the scooter I bought.
Not worth the extra money
As a very happy owner of two Eagle One V1’s, I decided to “upgrade” to the Pro for the simple reason that i kept getting flat tires and i wanted to go tubeless. I understand that doesn't mean never having a flat tire again, but it was becoming so frequent I wanted a backup, hoping to make the Pro my primary ride.
Here’s my take on the difference:
The #1 reason the Pro is worse than the V1 is it lacks a damper on the steering to keep it stable at high speeds. It feels like an accident waiting to happen. Out of the box the suspension is much stiffer, so lacking a damper, every bump in the road destabilizes the steering a bit, which requires EXTRA attention to steer straight. The V1 had a much softer ride and a damper, so riding 35mph (roughly its top speed for me at 265lbs) was WAY less nerve-wracking.
Pluses for the Pro:
Stem locking system is 1,000 times better
The headlight is great, the V1 light was pointless
Haven't ridden enough, but I’ll assume the battery lasts longer.
Top speed (on a flat, bump-free road) was 41.
Tubeless 11” tires vs tubed 10”
The display is pretty, but not sure how accurate it is battery-wise, as I haven’t pushed it that far
Things I don’t like (aside from no damper):
The thumb throttle vs the finger throttle. It was much easier to dial in a speed (especially slow speeds) with the finger throttle. The old throttle had the display (speed, battery, etc) built in, so I guess it isn't compatible with the new lcd display.
The platform is a bit more narrow
It feels like I’m more vertical (weight forward) which also feels less safe.
The grips shift a bit, while the V1 didn’t (this is nit-picky)
Brakes seem the same.
Not sure how well the fenders work at keeping the rain from kicking up (the old fenders didn’t do much)
I brought the damper issue up with customer support, and while they were decently responsive, they kept telling me it had one (but it doesn’t). At this point, whatever….I threw the box away, so I’m going to keep it as a backup when I have flats on the V1. The extra 6-7 mph isn't worth the potential road rash, and it definitely isn't worth the extra money. If the V2 or V3 have a damper (nobody at Varla could answer that question), buy one of those instead.
Thank you Sylvia
Sylvia was very helpful and helped me all the way to fixing my scooter
