Door to Door - Lied on Interview - Full Commission- £20 per sale

I don’t usually write reviews, but this company deserves one

The whole company is a door-to-door company. They lie on their interviews. They don’t tell the truth. The managers take your money. You can’t track your sales the sales you get £20 per sale and that if they don’t cancel (some days you get zero sales)

You work from 12-9pm (sometimes 8:30pm) but you arrive in the office at 9:30 am so it’s basically 12 hours Monday - Saturday

If you don’t try and work Saturday, they have a go at you and try and gaslight you on how that’s what winners do. Sundays you spend doing zoom calls so ultimately you don’t even get a day off.

It’s full commission, you register a Self-Employed, you pay for your own travel and because it’s door-to-door you are travelling everywhere across London so on average you are spending around £150 a week if not more on travel.

I love sales and still do but this company is definitely some sort of pyramid scheme. (Also found out they have changed their name over five times in the past due to bad reviews)

Used to be called steppe2, Set The Pace and some other names.

They lie on their interviews. You do not get the money that they say on the interviews even if they tell you there is a guarantee in regards to pay there is a caveat to get that guarantee.

D2D Pyramid Scheme!

I spent a year with Vast Connections previously known as”Steppe2”, they just changed their name or as they say “rebranded” to mitigate the negativity, I’m writing this to warn anyone considering a "Management Training" position here. This is a textbook "Devil Corp" operation. If you haven't seen the documentary "The Slave Circle" on YouTube, watch it—90% of what they expose is exactly what happens here.
The Reality of the "Opportunity":
• The D2D Grind: They sell it as "marketing" or "promotions," but it is soul-crushing door-to-door sales. You will spend 10–12 hours a day walking neighborhoods for commissions that barely cover your gas and food, all while being told you're "building an empire."
• The "Self-Employed" Lie: They claim you’re an independent contractor to avoid paying a base salary or benefits, yet they exert total control over your life. If you try to leave "Team Night" early to get some sleep, senior managers will gaslight and shame you for "not being committed" or "losing your attitude."
• Sleep Deprivation: As a "Training Partner," the schedule is inhumane. You are forced to stay out for "networking" until 12 or 1 AM, only to be back in the office at 7 AM to conduct interviews for the next round of recruits. It’s a cycle of exhaustion designed to stop you from thinking critically.
• The Cult Culture: The managers are fake. They use the same regurgitated "juice" scripts and motivational cliches to keep you on the hook. It’s an environment built on indoctrination, where you’re rewarded for being a "yes-man" and socially punished for questioning the business model.
The Verdict: Vast Connections is a pyramid scheme disguised as a marketing firm. They rely on high turnover and the desperation of young people who don't know any better. Do not be fooled by the high-energy "atmosphere" in the office—it’s a front for a system that will exploit your work ethic until there's nothing left. Save your time and find a real company that respects your labor and your right to sleep.

One more thing I wanna mention is they’ll feed your ego and make you seem like you’re better than everyone else for “trusting the process” ,when in reality the people that leave after a few weeks or straightaway are making a choice that’s not only beneficial financially but also for their mental health and well-being.

Stay woke!

SCAM - Door 2 Door Role

Do not work at this company they used to be called Steppe2. They get you to register as being self employed, you will work from 9am to 9pm, full commission doing door to door. You will not make the money they advertise nobody does. That is how they get you they promise something you will not get. I worked at the company for a year it is not worth it trust me.

They will make you go through a three-stage interview for a door-to-door role, which is full commission, and will require you to sign contracts to register as self-employed. They advertise the positions as business development or sales and marketing.

The company changed its name—they used to be called Steppe2—and deleted their website and LinkedIn due to the number of negative reviews from employees. Search for Steppe2 and read the reviews.

They advertise the job as a business development a manger and never tell you the company is a door to door role they say events but you will be standing outside doing pitching.

They call it a multi level management company in short its a legal loop hole of a pyramid scheme.

(I worked there for a year doing this and i was known as a high roller, and the company is exactly as they describe it as being on the reddit forums (search Steppe2 there old company name that they called themselves in 2025 until they recently changed there name to Vast Connections))
