We were overseas when Hurricane Ian struck and our vehicle was partially submerged in the sea surge.
Initially handling the claim from Europe and then finalizing things in the following months was made pleasingly simple, mostly I believe, by Christopher Smith. Very professional and efficient.

Claim was for windshield. Reimbursement was very quick. I did have to contact Vault to get the claim # in order to have payment processed because that was not provided up front. I would suggest that you review your online claims submission because there seems to be a thorough process if you submit to Vault/Safelite. But if you contact Safelite on your own and submit the claim for reimbursement, there is no "process on line". you simply email and attach the receipt. It would make sense to have a form completed online, attach receipt and then receive a claim # as proof it was received, etc. I would suggest taking a look at it

I reported a claim on my home. The response from Vault was same day, from a courteous and helpful professional. Next day a knowledgeable and friendly appraiser was here. All and all the claim was settled in a matter of days. A huge weight was lifted. Much appreciated.

Within hours of a tree falling on the house, Vault arranged for a contractor to patch the roof to avoid additional rain coming into the house. For a variety of reasons, the original contractor (the one that patched the roof at midnight) was not selected to repair the damage. Vault offered another contractor (Paul Davis) that took over the project and they performed professionally and timely. Vault stood by and supported us throughout the process. Vault provided excellent customer service.

Your renewal price increase was insane for 22-23 so we found a different carrier to meet our needs. Your renewal increase, no claims, was over 35% for all lines of insurance. We did not feel that was an acceptable situation for us so you lost a customer. Your website also needs improvement. Very difficult to find payment/quotes for new vehicles, etc. Self-service is more difficult than it should be. I don't want to go to my independent agent every time I have a policy/billing/quote question. Doing business with you was extremely difficult. Other high-end carriers have an extreme advantage over you in this area.
