I have car insurance policy with them and they claim they reply with in 4 hours as there is no phone number. I have email them 2 days ago about number plate change but have not got reply yet and my car showing no insurance. Who will responsible if any thing happen.

I would not recommend buying car insurance from VectorDirect. Despite cancelling my policy the very next day and within the 14-day cooling-off period, I was informed that an £85 cancellation fee would still apply. In my view, this charge is excessive and was not made sufficiently clear during the purchase process.
I was also unable to find a customer service telephone number for general enquiries, and I found the responses to my emails to be slow and unsatisfactory.
Based on my experience, the level of customer service provided by VectorDirect fell well below my expectations, and I would not choose to use this company again.
Waste of time, gave me a quote. Said I had 24hrs to take up quote, but their systems are down. So unable to take up offer. No contact phone number, sent an email. Nothing from heard them, possible as the systems are down. Or they have ceased trading maybe, who knows. Bit pointless really.
Cancelled insurance policy 2 days after I took it out, within the 14 day cooling off period, due to not being able to get in touch with them promptly, email only mon - Friday isn’t good enough in some instances. My instinct was right to cancel as they completely ignored my cancellation email for 2 weeks and 3 weeks later I’m still waiting for my refund. Wouldn’t like to chance the same level of communication if I needed them urgently.
