While VEED.io seems like a great initiative on paper, the actual user experience is unfortunately underwhelming due to persistent technical issues.
The text scaling and font management are particularly poorly implemented. The font sizes rarely reflect the actual pixel values I set, and settings often revert or change spontaneously. Even when text elements are linked, the sizing remains inconsistent across different segments, making it nearly impossible to maintain a cohesive visual style.
The highlighting tool is another major pain point. It frequently crashes or behaves erratically, highlighting words I never selected. I found myself spending hours fighting the software rather than making progress on my project.
While the platform might be sufficient for very basic subtitling, any of the 'extra' or more advanced features fail to function as advertised. It's incredibly frustrating to put in the work only to be held back by basic functional flaws. At this stage, I definitely won't be subscribing or paying for the service, as it has failed to prove its reliability for professional use.

Great platform to make free videos... Excellent...

It’s a huge rip off in my opinion, I’ve paid a £100 subscription for practically nothing. For starters I’m not even able to edit videos on my I phone, Its says you get 19000 odd credits when you purchase your subscription to use on their AI modules but it tells me I don’t have any credits. And there’s lots more, a huge let down so please look elsewhere if your wanting to use a platform for creation.

This is a very good editor. Simple functions. It does exactly what I need it to do. Of course, the really good features require a subscription. The free version has a unimpeding watermark.

paid 39gbp and didnt get any AI tools still saying i have to buy extras. such a joke! requested refund as can't use. still no response!

This is app is genuinely trash. There's been multiple times I have cried, screamed, and yelled over losing my footage on this stupid thing that has the audacity to put that "best recording software!" bullshit. If you're on the free plan, you can't do jack shit, and your recording cannot go over 10 minutes. they do not tell you that, because the company itself is a bunch of money-hungry-cows. They also use ai even if you don't want it to, and then everything, and I mean, EVERYTHING you have to pay for, and if you do want to pay for, 12 dollars is the cheapest. In conclusion, this app is trash, garbage, deserves to be sitting inside the depths of my feces filled ass, and doesn't deserve to be used in general. like at all.

This is Easy to Use, and the "Clean Audio" (Remove Background Noise) Tool is working Perfectly, for me this is the Key Features of Veed.
