Saying I did trust only this site and actually they are doing this together forcing to buy history only from this site and when I checked that many have scammed so I have avoided to fo the same mistakes other does so stay away from this site.
Same as all the below comments, potential buyer insisted on me paying for one of these checks before meeting them. Knew something was up and glad I checked here. Another day in the world of trying to sell a vehicle and scammers. Stay vigilant.
I have had the same issue as mentioned by others where interested buyers have insisted that I use this site fortunately checked first.
Scam website, Phone people who have adverts and directs then to this site to get a report. They are trying to get money from you with a bogus report Avoid vehicleaudit.uk as well. Also legit firm would not use a mobile number for contact and the address is a empty unit.
Had someone “show interest” in my car on Autotrader, they then asked me to buy a report from this site. Needless to say I didn’t buy and called him out as a scammer. He was.
Scam website, have had several people message about a van for sale. Each asked for a vehicle check report. They will say only the owner can get one, NOT TRUE! They will not except any other site as whatever you suggest, they’ve had issues with it and only trust this one.
Had the same thing as the other reviewer but luckily I came here to check before I spent anything, had 2 different scams for different websites now vehicleaudit.uk is the other too stay away from
Scam website. Listed my car, potential buyer reached out and asked me to get a report from the website. Eventually and unfortunately I did, to only receive a report that had little to no useful information. Raised a dispute with my bank on that basis (not being provided with what I paid for) and got my money back. Stay away, it’s a sophisticated scam!
