I was at the Glasgow clinic yesterday having my veins done for the first time.
Anne the nurse and Marcia the receptionist put me at ease right away.
The foam sclerotherapy was administered by Navin, who was very professional, he explained the procedure exactly and I could see what was happening on the screen as he was working.
A couple of small nips but nothing to worry about, would definitely recommend this company.

Had a fantastic experience at this clinic. Doctor Mathias was friendly, professional, and detailed in his explanation of the treatment. The nurse was extremely kind, both putting me at ease during my treatment. Treatment was somewhat uncomfortable but manageable. Still wearing my stocking so unsure of results but the experience itself was superb. Thank you

I have had varicose veins for more than 30 years and after having had treatment wish I hadn’t waited so long. The procedure was not particularly painful, a little uncomfortable. Susie and her team were great at putting you at ease and explaining the process thoroughly.

From initial consultation, through treatment and after care appointment, a very professional and friendly service was provided by Dr Navin and his team. All questions were answered and any concerns were addressed, putting me at ease. I had EVLA treatment carried out on both legs, and I am very pleased with the results and how quick recovery was.
I would highly recommend Dr Navin and his team.

From the moment I first walked in I was warmly welcomed by the lovely Phyllis who also made my husband feel at ease. I was given all the information needed for varicose vein removal at my consultation and everything was explained to me so when returning for the procedure I felt comfortable in the hands of Suzie with Cathie also taking great care of me. They both were professional yet kind and caring and kept me calm throughout the process. The whole procedure was over within an hour and I was given great aftercare advice. I noticed results soon after and any pain I had was managed with ibuprofen and felt regular walking and movement also helped. Upon return for my next appointment, Suzie was pleased with the results, resulting me only requiring 1 more injection. Overall I am extremely pleased with my experience with Veincentre Glasgow and would highly recommend.

I went to the Glasgow Veincentre on 30th October 2024 for a consultation about a severe and painful ulcer on my right leg. The doctor I saw had what seemed up-to-date diagnostic equipment, carried out ABPI and ultra-sound examinations, and a very thorough and professional enquiry into my health and past history. He was friendly, sympathetic, honest and reassuring. Any qualms I had about seeking private medical advice were banished by his honest assessment that my basic trouble was due to severe arterial insufficiency, and not to venous insufficiency as had previously been assumed. He therefore advised referral to the NHS Vascular Surgery department at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, wrote a detailed and specific report to enable my Edinburgh GP to make this referral, and did all he could to facilitate and hasten the necessary treatment.
He was honest and explicit that the treatments Veincentre offer are not appropriate for this particular problem - but he certainly reassured me that if I ever do need their treatment for venous insufficiency, it will make good sense to go to them.
His supporting staff, a nurse and a receptionist/ general assistant, were likewise friendly, reassuring
and professionally competent. The only shortcoming was in the quality of the typing of his report, which required so much correction as to delay matters for an extra day or two.
I am now on the ERI's urgent waiting list, and hoping to be called for an appointment by the end of the year.

Had my first consultation at the Glasgow vein centre and i was put at ease straight away, the doctor talked me through everything and agreed on what treatment i would need laser treatment, the date was set for my treatment soon after,
On the day of my treatment again doctor went through everything again and started the procedure, I won’t lie it was painful but a pain that would come and go as it doesn’t last to long, the nurse was fantastic throughout the procedure we played music of my choice 80s music and enjoyed guessing the year and having a good laugh to, it was over and done with quite quickly,
Follow up check up went well and I didn’t need any more treatment i am glad to say, had some bruising for a while but it faded away and the end result was fantastic no more big blue bulky veins, i am so happy I can finally show off my legs. Can’t thank Glasgow Vein centre for everything they have done, all staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive, I definitely recommend them just wish i had gotten this done years ago, it has given me so much more confidence.

Dr Mathias and the staff in the Glasgow clinic are excellent. From initial consultation to treatment everyone was very helpful and informative. Dr Mathias explained all options and potential complications and answered all my questions thoroughly. Treatment took about an hour and I was able to walk out afterwards with minimum pain. I would highly recommend Dr Mathias for anyone considering treatment for varicose veins.

I went for my consultation few months ago where I met Dr Mathias and the team who explained everything to me and answered all the questions.
My actual procedure was carried out just couple of days ago and I didn’t find it painful at all just little uncomfortable afterwards.
If I will be needing any more treatments I would not hesitate to go back.
Thank you everyone in Glasgow clinic.

The friendliness and reassurances of the staff made the consultation and the treatment I received a comfortable experience. Dr Navin Mathias and his caring nurse, Anne, put me at ease from beginning to end. The knowledge and expertise of Dr Mathias was impressive, his manner extremely professional and my treatment pain-free. I would be totally confident in returning to this clinic should I ever need further treatment.

I decided to get my veins treated after putting up with the pain and look of them for years. Right from my first call to vein centre to leaving after my treatment finished I was delighted with the service. I haven’t went bare legged for years but just 3 weeks after my initial treatment I felt confident to wear shorts. I can now run without wearing a knee strap which I haven’t been able to do for a long time. I wish I had this treatment years ago. Dr Mathias explained everything and made me feel at ease as did the nurse assisting him. I was worried about spending so much money and the treatment not working but it’s been worth every penny. 100% recommend veincentre & the treatment.
