Remarkably easy and relatively painless…
Whilst it’s fresh in my mind thought I’d write a quick review on my experience from yesterday at the Leeds clinic. Had work done on both legs and leading up to the actual event the experience of staff has been excellent. Call handlers really helpful and professional, and both receptionists met at consultation and the actual event were really engaging and reassuring.
I wasn’t particularly nervous about the process as I had to trust that I was in the hands of professionals. David Shaw carried out the process and he was great. It was almost painless and not overly uncomfortable. Top tip - ask them not to tell you what they’re about to do and you’ll be surprised at how little you anticipate, so less pain and anxiety!
It was over pretty quickly and whilst a little discomfort before bed I’ve woken up this morning and I’m fine. Ready now to follow post procedure advice and go for walks in between rain showers.
Highly recommend this clinic and thank you to David and his lovely nurse for making this a good experience.

I was treated at Leeds Veincentre by Dr Mark Regi.
An absolutely fantastic experience from start to Finnish.
From Debs in reception, to Dr Mark and nurse Liz, the staff were very friendly, welcoming, very professional and knowledgeable.
The treatment itself was fast, effective and not very painful at all.
I had EVLA and foam sclerotherapy in both legs and some extra foam sclerotherapy in my follow-up appointment, 2 months after my initial procedure.
If you have been thinking about getting your veins done then I would certainly recommend Veincentre Leeds without question.

It’s like having a new pair of legs
I am very pleased that i chose Veincentre Leeds for my treatment, the experience from consultation through treatment to follow up appointments with my consultant Dr David shaw was both very informative and reassuring. I didn’t feel nervous, i was looked after extremely well by the nursing staff, and two months down the line they are feeling and looking better everyday.

Everyone was lovely
Everyone was lovely, the receptionist, nurses, and the consultant who did a fab job sorting out my veins. It’s been 4 months since treatment and apart from a bit of staining, which is getting better all the time, my veins are flat and my legs look so much better. I would say that the treatment was a bit more uncomfortable than I expected but I’m so happy with the results so far. Great team, thank you

Professional and friendly service
Professional and friendly staff made the appointment delightful. Every effort was made to explain the procedure and results. I was very pleased to hear that my veins and arteries were all working fine and that there was no medical necessity to have any treatment. I was given the option to have treatment but this would be purely for cosmetic purposes.

Treatment at VeinCentre
Throughout my experience at VeinCentre Leeds, the whole of the team were efficient, professional and caring. Mr Dodd, my consultant, allayed any of my fears prior to my treatment. On the day of the procedure Mr Dodd and my nurse Rosie were friendly whilst being completely adept.
It is almost 4 months since the procedure took place and I continue to see improvements. I would highly recommend VeinCentre and would not hesitate to return should the need arise.
