Had treatment in 1 leg in 2023 , Veins returned within 12 months , contacted the centre to ask about options, they said because it was 12 month I would have to pay £3000 again .
Ironically I did point out a vein I thought they had not treated on my return visit after treatment , to which the consultant said , it wasn’t VV , it was normal !!! To which the mess in my left leg which has now developed again seems to of stemmed from that point . No offer of a follow up to check or a discount .
Not impressed at all .

The atmosphere was very welcoming.
Everyone was friendly polite and explained procedures very clearly.
Overall I had a very good experience on my consultation.

Lovely consultant Mr Duncan Drury, explained everything in great detail, really informative of the cause and next steps. Booked in for Procedure next month with Duncan.

I have just been to the Nottingham Vein centre. I had foam sclerotherapy injections into the veins that were troubling me. Dr Drury was very thorough and very professional. Jane the receptionist and Debbie the nurse were delightful. Thankyou all for making a difficult day so much easier 😊

Great experience with the Consultant and the Secretary staff. The examination was comprehensive and the discussion about treatment options was led really nicely.
Only thing to improve: it would have been better if it was stated clearly that the first consultation is only valid for 6 months. I would have booked it slightly later to make it fit better with my working shift pattern otherwise.
Otherwise great experience and I will definitely go back again and recommend it to other people.

I had my treatment at the Nottingham vein centre.On arrival the receptionist was lovely and friendly. I then went in to see my surgeon Duncan for my consultation where l had a scan. And then he explained what treatment I needed and the benefits from the treatment. I then went for my first treatment EVLA two weeks later which I was a bit nervous about but Duncan and is team soon relaxed me by talking about every day life. After the treatment my daughter drove me home and the following day I went back to work. I work for Royal Mail as a postman so l was a bit concerned about the early return to work but l managed. I more or less felt the benefits of my blood circulation in days. After seven days I took my stocking off and l couldn’t believe the outcome. My bulging veins had gone it was like a miracle. Three months on and I’ve just been back for my follow up appointment and sclerotherapy treatment. Once again I cannot thank Duncan and his team at the Nottingham vein centre enough for improving my quality of life.

Second appointment for thread veins… always such good service and results… Dr Drury and Nurse Debbie are absolutely delightful and I’d pay just to hang out with them all day tbf

Went to the Vein center for consultation & doppler as I want treatment for my thread veins. From booking in the staff are so lovely , the receptionist was lovely , made us a cuppa. Seen Mr Drury who did a thorough check , very informative throughout consultation & friendly , the nurse who was with him was so lovely. I would highly recommend this place.

I recently attended the Nottingham Veincentre for EVLA and Foam Scelotherapy treatment. The service received was positive, professional and comprehensive.
So far I am very satisfied with the outcome of the treatment though I understand it isn’t instant and my legs will continue to improve over the next few months.

Reading other people’s reviews was an important part of why I chose Nottingham Veincentre for treatment & so here is my honest review of my experience, which I hope will be of help to others.

I have recently completed EVLA, avulsions & foam sclerotherapy treatment for varicose veins on my calf under the care of Dr Mark Regi & Nurse Debbie & I am delighted with the outcome so far.

First treatment appointment took about an hour & although uncomfortable at times was fine & Mark was fantastic at explaining what was happening. I really appreciated his gentle, but confident demeanour & I very quickly trusted him.

Debbie was really lovely to talk to as I was being treated & together she & Mark even made me laugh a couple of times, which was no small achievement, given the circumstances.

I chose to have avulsions following EVLA because it offers faster results & there is no risk of staining. I also liked the idea of having the veins physically removed. It’s not for the feint hearted though. Mainly because of sensation of the veins being pulled through the incisions. Again, I would describe it as discomfort rather than pain & by the end of the session I was watching the veins being removed.

Foam sclerotherapy is much less uncomfortable & also much faster & I can see why most people opt for this as their secondary treatment. If you’re squeamish or have a low pain threshold, go for the foam.

The worst part of the entire treatment for me was having to wear a compression stocking for a week in hot weather. I took frequent cold showers (whilst wearing it) to cool down.

Be prepared for an increase in discomfort after about a week. I hadn’t expected this & I think it is caused by the immune system disposing of the dead, treated veins.

Another thing that was a lovely surprise to me was how much better the circulation in my foot is following treatment. I hadn’t realised how bad it was & I appreciate it everyday when running, walking or even just sitting. My main motivation to get the treatment was cosmetic, but the increase in function & comfort is amazing & unexpected.

Thank you to Jane on reception for her lovely warm welcome & humour which very quickly disarmed my apprehension at being a patient.

Mark, Debbie & Jane you are a great team & very good at what you do. I wouldn’t hesitate to book treatment with you again should it ever be necessary & I absolutely would recommend Nottingham Veincentre to friends & family & anyone reading this review.

Professional and efficient; good advice and subsequent treatment. Nice surroundings, helpful and friendly staff. Very happy with the final results.

From start to finish my consultation was 100% The receptionist was warm and greating putting me a ease straight away and my appointment was calm. Everything was explained so I understood what was going to be done (no big wards 😊) I would highly recommend this service.
