Non responsive customer service
If I could go back I probably wouldn’t but a bike from Vela again. I love the look of the bikes but their customer service has been absolutely terrible. I ordered a bike over 2 weeks ago, open box (meaning the bike was in stock in the warehouse, refurbished and already assembled) and I was never given a delivery ETA. I tried to follow up nearly everyday for the last two weeks just to ensure the bike wouldn’t ship when I was out of town and I didn’t get a single response back. I even tried to reach out through Instagram in a desperate act. The number on the website connects you to an employee who no longer works with the company and the email contacts will remain ignored. I have no choice but to claim this as fraud and go through my credit card to find a resolution. Very disappointed with this company.
