Worst service in my 20 + years of existence. Never dealt with such terrible and unstable internet. In order to get a tech, they needed all these unnecessarily screenshots. wasted so much of my time. The tech no showed twice and showed up once. and said nothing was wrong. Even though the network was intermittent and not to be forgotten I am a network technician myself. Please stay away at all cause. your better off with this company.. save yourself some money

I ordered internet package from them they are so bad that can’t think about it. At first they send technician to put the line on but the technician didn’t show up. so then they send another in next two days so the technician comes and checks the line within minutes and leaves and for that they charge me $60 After few days I received my modem I plugged In the internet works for 1st day then suddenly the internet stopped working. I Have tried everything I can to put the internet back on but no luck. I have call them many days to fix the problem but it didn’t work. It was a problem on the modem they give me used damage modem that don’t support internet at all. The company internet is very bad I would suggest not to take the internet from them.

I wanted an alternative to the Canadian price-gouging giants Bell and Rogers, and through a friend's personal recommendation, I found Velcom.

With Velcom I get TRULY unlimited Internet, with no overages and no surprises. They offer both ASDL (phone line) and cable options; I chose cable for its superior speeds. My plan costs, with tax included, $45 per month, and although the exact plan I signed up for is not listed (it was a promotion) I have speeds of approx 30 Mb down/5 Mb up. I stream movies, I upload large Photoshop and .mp4 files and no worries about extra data costs, ever. They quite often have promotions that include free set-up, and you can also bring your own modem if you wish.

Now here's a story: I'm retired and on limited income. One month I was late with my payment - five days. I was distressed about this. But when I paid my bill on day 5, Velcom said: "We received your payment. Thank you for being with us."

Thank you for being with us. Do you think Rogers would ever say that to you in such a situation?

Even the sign-up email you get is a bit of fun. It says, "Welcome to Velcom." Can you beat that?
