Great Customer Service
I brought a black matte city bike from
Steve and only got excellent customer service. I had great comms with him from the start before travelling to collect the bike in person. I got it home, unpacked it all, which had been well packed & climbed aboard my new ebike. Unfortunately as I’ve recently had a knee replacement I was unable to even do a full forward rotation on the bike, my new knee just isn’t up to it. I contacted Steve straight away and he was more than happy to come and collect the bike and give me a refund. I think my cycling days are over.

I had a terrible experience with Velovolt.co.uk and want to warn others about their fraudulent practices. I purchased two products from their website, the City Foldable eBike v2.0 in white and SLIME® Puncture Prevention Treatment. However, what I received was far from what was described and promised.

From the very beginning, there were red flags. After placing my order, I noticed that the first line of my address was missing. I immediately contacted Velovolt through their listed email address, but my email bounced back. Desperate for assistance, I managed to find a contact number for a person named Stephen Alexander Brown, also known as 'Steve,' at Velovolt. He claimed there was an issue with their email system and assured me that my address would be updated before dispatching the package.

When the package arrived, I was deeply disappointed. The City Foldable eBike v2.0 had multiple defects. It produced a screeching noise from the front wheel area, and the power delivery system was extremely underwhelming, especially when tackling hills. Both the front and rear wheels exhibited significant friction, leading to fatigue during rides. I immediately contacted Stephen via WhatsApp, providing him with evidence of the defects, including a video recording. However, instead of addressing the issue, he blocked me from all forms of communication.

To make matters worse, the SLIME® Puncture Prevention Treatment was never delivered. Despite Stephen's false claims that the product had been sent, it never arrived, and subsequent attempts to communicate with him were ignored.

I have taken every possible step to resolve this issue. I initiated the return process following Velovolt's guidelines, but the seller blocked all communication channels, leaving me helpless. I reported the case to the police, and a copy of the police report is available for reference.

It's important to note that Velovolt claims to offer a 30-day Money Back Guarantee on their website. However, they have failed to honor this guarantee in my case. I expect a full refund in accordance with their refund terms and conditions.

My experience with Velovolt has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their deceptive practices, lack of customer support, and failure to deliver the promised products warrant extreme caution when dealing with them. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of Velovolt.co.uk and save themselves from the frustration and financial loss I have endured.

Well I have had my bike for 5 months and It has travelled across fields, woods, bridleways, Roads and along disused railway lines. It also enjoys towns and cities. Its light, easy to fold and easy to throw for me across stiles and kissing gates at a squeeze😊. It is great as long as not too muddy so Its that time of year to keep out of the woods. It has carried me 300 + Kilometers powered and around 600 kilometers un powered. I have had no problems with the bike. As long as it is kept clean and oiled it is like new. It has helped myself cope with hills. I always got in so tired from cycling. Now no longer with this bike. Freedom to go so much further and not think about the hills. It also is very capable of going out in all weathers without problems to the electrics. It is not for the high speed as it can but the best way to ride is slowly and enjoy the ride. Setting 1 is okay for the flat and last for ages. I have never not made it home without battery. So price wise excellent, Components great quality. Best of all 2yr piece of mind on guarantee.

My son bought one and I have always been cynical about fold up bikes but I love it . I am a bike snob and have Trek electric Mountain bike and a Cannondale Supersix Evo road bike . This has great kit on it for the money and a really nice ride and I am 16st . Great on hills but rides very smoothly with the power off . Folds up well and good battery management system . My wife had a go on it having not ridden a bike for 20 years and loved it so we have bought another one !Plan is to take them to our holiday home in Cornwall and great to pop in the car park away from the beach and cycle to the beach and back or to the pub and back ;)

I went for the black frame bike, and I am super chuffed with it. The quality of the bike is great and it's really easy to fold away. I wasn't sure with the electric scooters on the market today, so I am happy I found this alternative.
