COMPLICATING INSURANCES

My one star revue is not for the venue. I've booked two tickets for The Jersey Boys in August 2026.
Sadly my health is not as good as what it was when i booked.
I took out the insurance, unfortunately to claim for refund. The company that handled the refunds wanted so much medical information.
I took the insurance out in good faith, however to get refunds its so difficult.
Even though you buy from the venue, they use a third party to handle the insuranne.
I have never dealt with any venue that makes trying to get a refund so difficult. The crazy thing, i have good seats, which they would have no problem re selling.
MY ADVISE, DO NOT TAKE THE INSURANCE, UNLESS YOPU READ ALL THE SMALL PRINT.
I WILL BE REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS.

Opting for ticket insurance to claim a refund due to illness isn't worthwhile. A relative was unable to attend and sought a reimbursement. They were instructed to complete a form requiring a doctor's signature, which costs £30. Thus, purchasing this insurance is unnecessary.

When booking tickets don’t pay extra for claiming
your money back if you can’t go through being ill
A family member couldn’t go and tried to get a ticket
refund they was told to download a form and get a doctor to sign it to say they was ill ,considering doctors charge £30 to sign a form it’s a waste of money to take this insurance out.
