Either close the case or chase the issues!!
Signed up to these over a disrepair of my house with mold. After a year of trying to sort things out, the landlord decided to fix the house. So after the house was fixed they put the case on pending and it has been a year and the issues with the house are back, I sent them over 20 messages with no response! and they wont neither close the case or chase the issues up. Very disappointed as to where I can get help from! Got a toddler who is living in a moldy house! Absolute disgrace

over a year of harrassment
Signed up over a year ago to get some more information, send me 5 emails daily for over a year with no option to unsubscribe, just directs you to log in to unsubscribe but there is no option anywhere to do so on the website. It's exhausting recieving so many emails for something I have NO INTEREST IN.
Moreso, when I logged into veriwise to try and unsubscribe they automatically created a case based on the address I gave them that I lived in over a year ago without me asking and don't give me any option to cancel it, wasting the time of me and my old landlord.

They collect all your information, lots and lots of information. Then they wave a £10,000 claim in front of you. We were informed and assured we had a successful claim. However, they sat on it for about 5 months until you have to move out and then they do something about it. However, you can’t proceed because funnily enough landlords also know their rights and that they can simply say “we’re ending your lease. Bye bye.”
And that’s the end of any kind of redemption because after Veriwise have spent months sitting on your case and have finally found a solicitor, the solicitor has no time to pursue it further. Our solicitor was actually very nice and said he wished he could help us but unfortunately due to the Veriwise timeframe of getting anything done, his hands were tied.
Complete waste of time. Try to find a solicitor directly, don’t be lazy like I was and the Veriwise team.

Tenancy issues resolved
I had an issue with my Landlord/Lettings agency and found Veriwise on Google, I sent them all the correspondence and evidence I had and they carried out a full investigation of the tenancy. Even though the issue I had was unlikely to be resolved the agency made a mistake when protecting my deposit so luckily they were able to raise a claim against the agency. The initial settlement offer was GBP250, which when declined was raised by 25 but the Veriwise tesm negotiated with them to reach the amount of £1150 that was agreed. It was a stress free experience which I really appreciate

Veriwiss is my saviour in this housing situation. Me being an Interntional student I was not able to do anything for my deposit for 6 months but when I registered a case with Veriwise, they investigated everything in a detail like My deposit wasn't protected and false accusation on me for breaking item in a house and They got me 3times of my deposit by the agency. Veriwise helped me get compensation from my old landlord for the issues I was forced to deal with while living there. They did a really good job, however I could & SHOULD have got a lot more (according to the law) but unfortunately as I had already vacated the property it wasn’t possible as the solicitors needed surveyors reports to take it to court. Photos, videos, emails, messages with the landlord confirming the issues weren’t enough so PLEASE contact Veriwise as early as possible and get these slumlords punished and stopped from treating people this way. 2.5 years of absolute hell, nobody deserves to live like that. Anyway, I still have to thank Veriwise for managing to get me something, and for forcing my ex landlord to take notice of the issues. I hope the next person that moves in doesn’t have to deal with what I went through, but if they do, I hope they contact Veriwise!

I had reached out several times to my landlord but got no response or help & didn’t know who to turn to in my time of need , until someone recommended Veriwise. I moved to a flat almost 3 years ago and at that time the flat was not cleared, none of the appliances was working. I contacted my agency(Foxton) and nothing happened except a couple of handyman visits and they came just to understand the problem. please imagine that you moved to a flat with no fridge and no stove and no washing machine and you have a 4 years old daughter. I had to send my family to my friends' house Then after 10 days, I contacted Veriwise and they took my case and they contacted my agent, immediately I got a message on my phone that new appliances are on the way and I got compensation from Foxton.
