Appalling. Shocking. Should Not Be Allowed To Operate.

I spent two weeks on this website and I had an experience that I still can’t believe happened. First, I was insulted by their Live Chat. And I mean that literally. They basically called me an idiot and spent 10 minutes insulting me when I asked for help. I can only assume I caught someone on a bad day, but I don’t expect to be treated like this either way. I did finally receive a half-arsed and half-hearted apology for this, but then things got worse.

I was then forced through the verification process, which is fine as this is common. But nothing about this process was common and it was made abundantly clear that they just didn’t want to pay me.

They asked for my passport. I sent them it. Then they insisted that I take a picture of me holding my passport. I sent them that as well. They then said that they needed ANOTHER form of Photo ID, because apparently my passport isn’t proof enough. When I informed them that I don’t drive and don’t have a driver’s license, they implied that I should get a driver’s license and then send them it.

They knew I didn’t have a driver’s license because this was mentioned when they requested my passport. So I know for a fact that the only reason they asked for this, is because they knew I didn’t have one and were hoping I would give up.

I mean, seriously. This actually happened. And this is a reputable gambling company? I think not.

I also had issues with utility bills and credit card statements, all of which they asked for and all of which I sent. But nothing, no matter how exact or clear, was accepted. They told me a letter was too blurry, even though it was not. They told me not to send cropped images, even though I did not. I was waiting for an excuse of, “No, sorry, we only accept black and white images taken with a Kodak zx2 camera made in 1992”, because that’s how ridiculous this was.

There was just no way of winning. In the end, it was very clear to me that they were just messing about and had no intention of paying me the £1,300 they owed me. I’m fairly sure that if I had applied for a driver’s license, opened a new bank account and acquired a new credit card (all things they expected me to do, even though I had given them everything they asked for) they would have started asking me for samples of my blood and DNA. And even then, I’m sure that would not have been enough, “This DNA is not good enough. We also need your fingerprints from when you were 18, as well as your first pubic hair”.

I have passed my complaint onto the gambling commission and will be doing my best to spread the word about this despicable scam of a company. Unfortunately for them, I make my money in digital advertising and will be using my time and my money to ensure all of their prospective customers avoid them like the plague that they are.

This company needs to be avoided, because if you ever win any money, then believe me, they will do their best to avoid you.

Appalling treatment of paying customers.

Yes I thought Vernons were okay. They seem to have been taken over by a new CEO. Playtech games run so many sites or Virtue Fusion. I've played their games now for over a decade and NEVER had a jackpot on any of their games. I would say a bit suspicious wouldnt you? However my beef is with Vernons. They used to be quite cool once. Now I've spent loads of money and was done out of 3 bonuses on 3 seperate occasions. When I wrote into complain I kept getting their really sorry but there's no bonuses on your account. It has gone on and on and on. They keep sending me copied and pasted scripts and don't listen to a word you say. I thought they were okay I used to get a game at least unlike other sites. I even got a few free bonuses. I always find it hard to believe when sites like this won't give you a miserable £10 quid bingo bonus (playthrough x 4) or a slots bonus (playthrough x 20) I mean what's the odds you're going to win with them. And I have a couple of times but then they've had so much of my money over the years why not give me some back?? They are at the moment ignoring my complaints emails my bingo support emails and I went on the EXCELLENT CEO EMAIL SITE WHICH ROCKS. and emailed the CEO twice. Other CEO's usually get their P.A s to reply on their behalf. Not this guy he just ignores you. VF have got away with so much that one day it will all come tumbling down. The amount of sites that have been found to use bots. (Pretend players who always win for the house) Oh and I've been banned from Virgin and Gala for asking awkward questions I really thought Vernons were different. What a div eh?
