I believe that Verse-Chorus to be a reputable organisation. The main trouble being that there are some "artists", who operate on this site in a selfish manner. That said persistance will normally bear out and if you keep trying you will find a kindred spirit hopefully in the end.
If you are looking for inspiration to spur on your music/song writing skills then the Verse-Chorus site is the place to be. Do what I have done, and seek out people with similar music interests to you in the UK or Worldwide to collaborate with and share creative ideas.
After a short time I was delighted to have found a community of like minded people.

It seems that everyone on this site that I’ve reached out to or replied to never actually wants to collab or anything. Paying money to see messages and then to not get a good response AT ALL is very frustrating and makes this a useless investment.

In a couple days of using the platform I have connected with three other writers. Thank you!!

Immediately, I have had several like-minded musicians getting in touch, and we are already working on projects together

Fantastic! Verse-Chorus is an excellent platform that manages to retain a local community vibe. They give you the opportunity to expand your contacts of musicians, producers and writers, and make friends too. It's worth being patient with the platform, as there's a lot of value here. They also provide a service where you can easily generate copyright certificates for your work. I like it!

This website requires you to pay to read messages. Before you can consider whether or not you'd like to collaborate with someone based upon their project, you must already sink money into it. I see no use for this when you can already connect with groups of songwriters through Facebook, Discord, and really any other social media community. Save your time and money.

Still too early to tell - lots of inquiries by people wanting to collaborate - especially lyricists - but no real lyrics showing up

Verse-Chorus provides an opportunity for like-minded people to get together which in normal circumstances can be quite difficult. At this time I feel optimistic so will just have to wait and see.

I haven't yet used all the possibilities that VC offers, so far my experience has been excellent and has resulted in a nice collaboration.
I voted 4 stars because there is always room for improvement.
