We had a brilliant experience…

We had a brilliant experience purchasing our new car. From start to finish Cameron the Motability person was fantastic explained everything too us clearly.
Overall we would definitely recommend vertu motors to everyone, can’t fault them on anything.

I recently had my car in for a warranty…

I recently had my car in for a warranty repair at vertu Carlisle it got recovered there they had it a month i constantly rang them about the repair to my mg one excuse after another getting nowhere finally got it back today covered it bird shit leaves and sap absolutely disgusting never had a experience like it don’t even know how this dealership is still open keep well away disgusting treat like an idiot

Excellent service from Damien from…

Excellent service from Damien from start to finish and I was kept up to date all through the process. From seeing and test driving the car to collecting it the following week everything was a smooth process.
My only observation is that I would have bought the car the day I saw it but apparently there are no admin staff to process transactions on a Saturday something that perhaps Vertu should look into.

Bought car over the telephone & drove…

Bought car over the telephone & drove from Forres to Carlisle to pick car up approx 250 miles. When we got home & had a proper look at the car we noticed that the front driver car mat had a hole worn through it, thought the garage would have replaced it. We also noted that it is due a service in 15 days from when we picked it up! When I’ve bought cars before they would always have done that before we bought it. A stupid lie was told to us that the previous owner was lived in Scotland, really! On looking at the service record it was serviced in Leeds! What was the point in telling us that!

From the moment we entered the showroom…

From the moment we entered the showroom to purchasing our new Cupra Terramar American cup, to driving it away, the service was second to none. Martin and Damion were so knowledgeable and super helpful and also good fun. I would highly recommend purchasing a car from them.

Called in to look at the cupras in…

Called in to look at the cupras in carlisle ...we have always had vw from passats upto the tiguan but looking at a newer car we liked the formentor ...we have always had deisels but were really tempted by the petrol mild hybrid ..Cameron in carlisle was really helpful and took us out on a test drive these cars are amazing that amazing we now own a brand new one and love it..hopefully we will have a good few years enjoying cupra as much as we have vw ..and this is way sportier ..Thanks Cameron in carlisle top man ...

Damion and colleagues were great.

Damion and colleagues were great. I had to get a new car in 28 days following a sudden bereavement. Damion was very kind and took great care of me & my daughter. They got me a new car sorted & within my budget & within the timescale.
Nothing was a hassle. He talked me through everything and made whatbcould have been a stressful event, completely straightforward & hassle free.
Can not thank/praise him enough.

Poor experience at Vertu Carlisle

We recently purchased a new Cupra Born from the Carlisle dealership, and unfortunately the experience was poor throughout.

Firstly, we were charged a double deposit, which we then had to chase to have refunded.

Communication was also a persistent issue. We received little to no proactive updates and had to do the chasing ourselves for weeks - despite being clear that we needed the vehicle by a specific date due to our existing car being returned.

The day before collection, we even found ourselves having to walk the sales team through their own insurance options. When the Sales Executive said, “I always just click the top one?”, it did little to inspire confidence.

To be fair, the Sales Executive did attempt to take accountability which I appreciated. However, this felt like a leadership and oversight issue. A junior team member should be properly supported by management, particularly on what should be a straightforward transaction. I also noted both the Sales Manager and General Manager were out of the business when we collected the vehicle.

Buying a new car should feel organised and professional. This did not.

If you’re considering purchasing, I would suggest exploring alternative dealerships.

Chris was very helpful

Chris was very helpful, allowing us to try my husbands mobility aid in various boots to see which models would be suitable for us. This meant we could rule out some models and concentrate our search.

Picked my 2025 Seat Arona FR up…

Picked my 2025 Seat Arona FR up yesterday and and I am delighted with it. The car was prepared to the highest standard and like new.

Traveled down from the north of Scotland as the car was a brilliant price and looked fantastic online, i wasn't disappointed when I arrived and seen the car was just as advertised.

Customer service has been fantastic and I must thank Dan for being on the ball with communication and no pushy sales patter, just honest and upfront, helpful.

And Dan offered to pick me up from the train station and that's fantastic Customer service.

Would highly recommend Vertu SEAT Carlisle.
