After a warning light appeared on our…

After a warning light appeared on our new car I was only able to book it in to be seen in 3 weeks at the earliest. I rung Mike (Business Manager), who had sold us the car to see if he could help further as i rely on my car heavily and within 10 minutes he had managed to book a slot for next week instead and is also currently on the case of trying to sort me a courtesy car. Brilliant service!

Dan at the Ford dealership at Vertu…

Dan at the Ford dealership at Vertu Gloucester was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

After speaking with a few other Ford dealerships locally, the difference in service was huge. Most places barely took the time to talk things through properly, didn’t explain the options or packages and some didn’t even bother following up after I’d spoken to them.

Dan was completely different. From our first phone call he took the time to go through all the options in detail and helped me understand what would work best for me. Nothing felt rushed and he was happy to answer any questions I had.

Communication throughout the whole process was excellent and even at handover he made sure everything was explained properly and that I was completely happy.

If you’re thinking about buying a Ford, I’d strongly recommend speaking to Dan at Vertu Gloucester. A genuine credit to the dealership

We dealt with a really nice guy Steve Bill.
Very laid back not at all pushy.Happy with our chose of car. Only criticism is think the car check after you purchase the car could be more thorough. Very minor things that can easily be rectified. Car key battery needs changing, a small cap missing internally. No problem with rectifying what was picked up on. Would recommend them to deal with

Excellent front of house service

Although there was a lack of communication from the workshop, which resulted in my vehicle not being completed when I arrived as prearranged to collect it, the customer service team were fantastic. Zoe arranged a loan car, Olly helped me collect my work kit, and Zoe also discounted the bill for me before I even asked- she couldn’t have been more supportive, I couldn’t have reasonably expected more. Great!

Not a soft touch!

I was looking for part exchange and told the salesman on the phone about damage to the door and this was taken into consideration (and not questioned). However, when I went in, the manager said that their quote was being reduced by £2000 as there is a dent on the passenger door too... I hadn't even noticed it, it's so small! I've had a quote to fix this: £120. Please note, he agreed that the original quote had taken the damage to the driver's door into consideration, so that cannot be used as an excuse. He did also say there was another dent on the passenger side but no one else has been able to find that, including the guy who quoted to fix the small dent we did find... I'm sure he would have liked to get this job if there was such a dent!

I can only deduce that this manager thought I was a soft touch. I may be tiny, blonde, old(ish) and female, but I am not a soft touch!

I will not go back to Vertu: I cannot trust them to do what is right.

I have just bought a new ford at vertu…

I have just bought a new ford at vertu ford in Gloucester. Ford customer service gave me a good deal on my new car and the sales team George Docksey was very professional, helpful and very friendly towards me and buying my first car from ford in gloucester. The manger mohammed was also very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the company when buying a ford.

Ripped off at ford Gloucester …

I went to Gloucester ford,took a st line mhev focus for a test drive,as soon as I got in the car a 12volt battery warning sign popped up on the dashboard.the sales man told me the car had been standing for a couple of weeks and the 3 hour drive back to my home would charge the battery up.i foolishly bought the car as two days later the warning sign came back up.i drove 130 mile round trip thinking this would charge the battery, but no same message the next day. After doing some digging for information on the Internet, apparently lots of people with the mhev 1.0 ecoboost engine are experiencing the same problem, which ford are aware of.ive taken the car to my local ford dealer who phoned and said nothing was coming up on the diagnostic and would phone me back.4 hours later I phoned the garage too be told they had the battery on charge. On line many people have had this experience at the ford dealers only to have the warning come back up few days later.ford Gloucester are saying this is normal and to put the car on charge once a month. When I bought the car 17 months old from ford Gloucester they didn't mention this problem, but we're quick enough too take my money and sell on their problems. I'm consulting legal firms on my consumer rights. If you ever got to trust a carsalesman or a snake trust the snake.

Highly recommended

Excellent service from the initial point of contact and throughout the sales process to collection of my new vehicle. Really knowledgeable staff who wanted to sell me a new van.
