I had been looking for a new car on Landrovers website,
I found a car at this dealers and made an enquiry
the sales executive who contacted me was Lewis Painter , he gave me all the information I require ,and sent videos and pictures , as I am based in the Isle of Man, so could not travel to the showroom due to ill health . we struck a deal on the car , and low and behold the dealership offered to bring the car to me, over 300mile round trip including boat and air for Lewis's return .
My car arrived yesterday and everything was explained in how it worked , shown all the controls .
I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend this dealership 100% 1st class company to deal with

Dean at Vertu Land Rover in Yeovil made the experience of buying an approved used Discovery so easy. From the very first contact his communication was first class, and within a week of first enquiry we were able to take possession of our 'new' vehicle. Thoroughly recommend Vertu, but can't recommend the A303 on a windy day.

Can’t fix a problem, I didn’t buy from this garage bought from carbase in Bristol, however after my Range Rover evoque had a major issue and they couldn’t diagnose the issue they sent it to this garage who changed the DC/DC converter after 5 weeks same fault happened then had to back to them a second time, they said it needed to be updated ( why this wasn’t done when they replaced a part?) 2 weeks later same fault again this has now gone back for a third time I have rejected the car and been told by carbase that I can’t reject as Land Rover is at fault as they carried out the repair so again left without a car. In 4 months I have had 4 recoveries and been without a car longer than I’ve had one. I would not be recommending anyone to buy a Range Rover due to the ongoing issues. And every one blaming each other when it’s the customer that is the one who is losing out.

Purchased the car 14months ago from Vertu Land Rover, Yeovil. The car is older than I would have normally gone for but I was reassured by sales that the car would be fully covered under extended warranty for anything major and was also sold the extra insurances for complete piece of mind…..
First off, the driver seat was broken, as in the frame had bent so the whole seat had to be replaced in the first month. We were also told the bushes were worn, something that had been picked up when we purchased the car and we had been assured had been fixed. First red flag…
After 6 months we noticed the rattle. To be fair, no one could miss the rattling. Took it back in, told it was the heat shield and not to worry about it. Rattle continues. 2nd red flag.
In October it went in again for MOT. Needed a new tyre. Tyre and Alloy insurance apparently won’t cover it. Tyre cost me £200
In early December, the EML suddenly came on. I phone up to book it in and get told it will be 3 weeks. Luckily the light went off so assumed a small glitch and cancelled.
In January, the EML came on again. I took to a local garage for initial diagnostic as didn’t want to wait 3 weeks with ongoing bad weather and floods. They diagnosed a huge list of issues and told me to get it into Land Rover for repairs under warranty Service desk agreed to see it 4 days later and assured me that JLR were likely to offer good will and cover some of the hefty projected costs.
On Wednesday I took a call saying the DPF filter is knackered and has cracked. £2.5k to repair and this would *allegedly fix all the problems flagged up on the diagnostic. The helpful video I was sent explained that it has “been repaired previously”. Not by me it wasn’t so assume this was done by the dealer before I bought the car as the previous owner had always taken it there for service. However, the extended warranty won’t cover it. No help forthcoming from JLR Head Office. Nothing can be done in-dealer to help either. Final red flag….
So, in summary I’ve had the car 14 months, did 13k miles and the value of the repairs is phenomenal! Vertu don’t want to know and don’t care as they had their sale and clearly just now need more money. I can get it repaired privately but I am no longer convinced the vehicle is sound so will be getting rid of it and coping with that significant financial hit instead. Thanks Vertu Land Rover!
