Very neko!!!! Do not buy!!!!

Please whatever you do, do not purchase anything from Very Neko.
They have had my money for a £50 denim jacket from October last year.
It still says processing on their website.
I have had to message them over 12 times, each time to be fobbed off with, "we're passing this on", "we'll let the courier know" and a multitude of other excuses.
They clearly have no intention of refunding me and I've been scammed. The item still says despatches in two days on their website, so they will still take peoples money.

2-3 shipping

2-3 shipping, ordered over a week ago. Doesn't get "posted" till 4 days later, doesn't get picked up by post till another 2 days later. Now won't be delivered for another 3 days. 9 days later. Even if you remove buying day, that's 8 days.
So much for 2-3 day shipping. Try 8 days +

Awful experience

Awful experience. Item is displayed as dispatched within two days. Currently at day 29 and still “processing”.

Every response I get from their team is a generic response about escalations, investigations, stuck in warehouse immediate dispatch. All with deadlines they have not managed to stay to.

I have asked twice for contact details for higher management and they ignore the request.

Today I have received the exact same message I received on October the 13th.

The absolute worst company I have dealt with.

Save your money, don’t bother!

I’m not one to give a bad review however I’m extremely disappointed by the company and won’t be ordering from them again or recommending to anyone. I made an order on the 22/09/2023 to which they took the payment before the order had even been dispatched - which goes against their website policy - to then be told the product was out of stock? Why take the payment or even have the product online stating that it’s available if it isn’t? The product I ordered was supposed to be a birthday present and I’m yet to be refunded and it’s already been over 7 days. Again with the website stating 5 days for the refund to be returned into my account. Where is my money? Communication has been poor and my question about being refunded has been completely disregarded. I honestly wish I’d taken the time to read reviews about the website before ordering. Horrendous. Save your money and don’t bother ordering from here! Where is my refund VeryNeko?!?!?

Absolute frauds - AVOID!

Absolute frauds, ordered from Very Neko who they own and they’ve taken my money, not sent the item and refused to cancel it leaving it stuck in ‘processing’ for ages. Requested them to cancel it multiple times but they refuse, but still can’t send out the item.

Disgusting service and customer service, will be reporting to trading standards as lots of people been roped off by these scammers

No product and No refund!!!!

I would not recommend this company at all. I purchased two star wars t-shirts for my sons birthday back in April and I still have no t-shirts and despite asking for a refund I still haven't received one. Absolutely appalling customer services and they are getting away with it!!!! I wish id of read the reviews before I placed my order. I can't afford to purchase T-shirts elsewhere so my son has gone without.
*UPDATE despite very Neko leaving me a message they have not been in touch since to sort this out or given me my money back, worse customer service ever*

Untrustworthy company

Untrustworthy company. I paid for a loungefly bag for £70 and it was out of stock. I asked for a refund and they would send me an automated response saying no refund possible. I contacted them again, they replied to say they have escalated it to the warehouse. I have been waiting for months! Still no refund! I have been contacting them ever since but nothing comes back with a refund but just more excuses!

Don’t order from VERY NEKO

Ordered Loungefly bag costing over £70 with shipping on 7th May. Still not even dispatched my item despite saying couple of days for delivery. Sadly it was a specific bag not available anywhere else for a birthday that was missed.
I’ve contacted them on 4 separate occasions to cancel my order and issue a refund and get the same response each time, “ please allow 3-5 working days to cancel your order and process a refund “.
An absolute joke of a company, keep hold of your money for as long as they can, I wonder how many others they’ve robbed.
I’m now going through PayPal for a dispute and claim.

Still waiting for my refund and every…

Still waiting for my refund and every email I send to this company I just get a reply that its with customer service but have heard nothing back and had no refund for the product I ordered and never received, can't believe such a well known company have such bad service, I will never recommend them to anyone now and putting 20 pounds credit in my account was OK but I would prefer my full refund because I honestly can't trust buying off a company that won't refund money when they have admitted they are in the wrong.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Ordered a blanket in February, has not been sent out. Contacted customer service 3 times and assured it would be sent out as soon as possible. Still not arrived. I would cancel the order, but it is a promised birthday gift. I’ve had to cancel the order myself and reorder to try and get it. Will not be using Zavvi, or very neko who had the EXACT same issue with an order, the exact same day (suspicious!), ever again once I have brought the gifts.. which are not available elsewhere. Awful, lying customer service.

My item I ordered was lost in transit by Royal Mail very neko worked quickly to find out what had happened to it and issued a refund straight away for my lost item, it hasn’t put me off from ordering with them in future I will definitely buy from them again as usually their orders are well packaged and arrive in great condition

Unique shop ❤️

Website is very easy to browse. The items on sale are very unique. I have wanted to shop at the original US store for such a long time so I was thrilled to notice there is now a U.K. store!

They have no stock do not order!

Sadly I should have check trustpilot before ordering. I placed order 468774952 and paid for standard 2-3 working day delivery. The dress was for a specific event, so when after 3 working days my order was still pending I used the virtual chat to check I could expect my order in good time. Sadly they confirmed that they didnt have the dress in stock and would not be sending it. That is when I check trustpilot, it looks to me like this is standard practice for Very Neko, lie about what you have for sale, take orders hold money and then cancel. I believe the word for this is SCAM.
