As usual a first class experience

Good customer service and friendly staff, allocated car that was expected and went out of their way to explain the whole process regarding check in and check out. Also gave tips on local and places to visit on the island. Thanks very much

Brand new vehicle.

I urge you to avoid this company! They are incredibly rude and scammed my husband and I along with a number of other customers that we spoke to during our long wait to pick up our vehicle. When we arrived at Olbia Airport we queued for over two hours to pick up the car, each group was taking a minimum of half of hour at the desk, all of whom were complaining because somehow the two men working on the rental desk were managing to con everyone out of more money. They literally made things up on the spot as justification as to why we all ended up paying out more money for various things. Both men on the desk kept laughing and were clearly enjoying the whole thing. The whole ordeal was incredibly stressful and ended up costing us a lot more money than it should have (an extra 200 euros). I will be making a formal complaint and ensuring everyone I know is warned off from using this dreadful company. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

We were provided with a new car of a better class than we expected and booked.
The manager at check-out was so kind that she told us about all the main beaches, good places for lunch and desserts and charged us with a great mood for the whole vacation. Great job!

Vitoria was very helpful, and she found a solution for me to take the car althow i did not have a credit card for deposit. The car was new and in perfect condition. Before booking, I read mixed reviews. For me Viaggiare turned out to be the best choice. Everything went quickly and smoothly, both when receiving and returning the car. The car was in the best conditions. I should mention that I had Silver insurance to eliminate any surprises.

Very good service

Simple, straightforward pick up at the airport terminal, after a bit of a wait as there was only one person and she needed to keep taking phonecalls. Clear instructions about photographing and videoing the condition of the car on pick up and how to submit those images. Easy drop off, again with a bit of a wait, so factor that in if you are getting a flight. Overall, it's a decent, no-frills (and importantly, no hard sell re extra insurance) car rental. All pretty easy and calm.

Adrianna could not have been any more helpful to us. Not only did she offer us an upgrade she also loaned us a beach umbrella and offered suggestions where to visit. She also assisted us during our stay. Adrianna is an absolute credit to Viaggiare Rent, Alghero Airport and hope to see her again very soon. Thank you so much for your fantastic care and service.

We rented a car in Alghero and were given a vehicle with noticeable damage, despite it being relatively new. We carefully documented everything with videos and photos, yet when we returned the car, they scrutinized it down to the smallest detail. They claimed to find a tiny 2mm stone chip in the lower part of the windshield—something we definitely would have noticed if it had happened while driving. We must have overseen it when documenting all the other much bigger damages.

In Denmark, this repair would cost around €70. But the day after we returned the car, they charged us an outrageous €670. It’s impossible to believe that fixing a minor chip costs 10 times more in Italy.

Viaggare lures customers with low rental prices but clearly profits by charging extortionate fees for microscopic damages. You'll end up paying more than with the most expensive rental companies. It’s absurd to be charged such an inflated sum for a small, easily missed chip, especially when they don't even seem to repair other visible damages on their cars.

I would strongly recommend not to rent a car from this company unless you are prepared to pay an outrageous extra amount for any tiny scratches - which they will definitely always be able to find.

I had an amazing experience. Everything went smoothly before, during and after the renting. We got a good price, a nice, new and clean car, and easy check-out. No problems at all. We didn't need a credit card, and left a deposit by debit. We got the deposit back instantly, and it showed in my account in a few hours already.
I recommend this place!
