I ordered a product a little over two weeks before Christmas. It did not arrive in time for the holidays. In the last few days, customer service promised every day that the package would arrive the next day. Christmas has passed, and the package is still nowhere to be found.

Ordered two pieces of furniture from VidaXL. One is okay, the other has a faulity component: the mirror door of the furniture is badly scratched, the edge band is damaged and is exposed to humidity and water, as it is a bathroom furniture. I asked them to replace only the door as it would be convinient for both of us, instead they keep offering me coupons or sending back the whole piece which is much more difficult because of its size. If they can replace the whole product, they could definitely send the faulty component. This is my last order from them.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with VidaXL.
I ordered a full garden furniture set worth nearly 500,000 HUF. The chairs arrived in the correct color, but the table was delivered in a completely different shade, making the set mismatched and unusable as advertised. This was clearly not what was ordered.
I immediately provided photographic evidence and detailed explanations. Instead of resolving the issue efficiently, the process has been slow, unclear, and frustrating.
Communication has been inconsistent:
Phone support is practically unreachable.
Responses are delayed.
Promised solutions (including a 100,000 HUF compensation coupon) have not been properly issued or confirmed.
There is no clear, accountable escalation process.
At one point, the suggested solution was to return the entire set, even though only the table is defective. This is unreasonable and disproportionate.
For a large European company, this level of customer service is unacceptable. When customers spend a significant amount of money, they expect professionalism, accountability, and clear communication — none of which have been demonstrated so far.
I am still waiting for:
Confirmation of table replacement
Proper handling of the defective item at their expense
Clear communication regarding the promised compensation
Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend VidaXL to anyone considering a major purchase.

If you have any questions or issues after your purchase, be aware that there is a high chance you will not receive any help and will be left on your own. I ordered a product and on the day of delivery it turned out that it would not be suitable for us, so we immediately informed them that we wished to withdraw from the purchase. We wanted to use their XL Service, which, for an additional fee, is supposed to collect the products. Since then, we have sent 31 emails because they simply do not help. When we do receive a response, it is always misleading, and we also suspect that we are not even communicating with a human being, but with a chatbot. This situation caused us a tremendous amount of stress, we had to use up several days of our vacation due to being misled about the collection process, and in the end we are facing a significant financial loss. We have no possibility of legal recourse because the company is not based locally, and although we were unaware of this—as the website and domain are Hungarian—they are clearly exploiting this fact as well. It is deeply disappointing that such a company can operate and is allowed to carry out sales activities while causing inconvenience and financial damage to large numbers of people. I do not recommend this webshop to anyone, unless they enjoy taking risks. I will try to share my experience on every available platform in the hope that it may help others avoid a serious problem and financial loss.

I ordered a table on december 26th , which was going to be shipped in 2 separate packages(as mentioned at ordering). As of today ( january 9.) i still haven't gotten one of the packages which would be crucial to assemble the table . I have been checking the tracking details quite often. The delivery company got both parts at the exact same occasion . One piece was shipped to me january 7th , the other is totally lost . I got an email stating that i will be recieving the second part on january 8 , but on that day i got another email that the package is rescheduled with no further date mentioned , just blank info . My tracking details look like : parcel arrived at depot > transport to next premises > arrived at depot > soon on its way > ready for delivery > rescheduled , soon on its way > parcel is at premises .
I have never paid in advance for anything , for this one i have and it has been a terrible experience .
If you are going to send and order in two separate packages , you should at least make sure that they arrive at the same time or whatever . Especially when it is something that needs both packages to be able to be assembled.

The product was useless. It was a mirror with a glass shelf, but we can not put it together because it not came with the right pieces. Moreower the mirror was a bit cracked. I do not recommend it.

I did not recived any of my parcels !!! The DPD company is always problenatic, I have very bad experiences with DPD. If I know that you are using only DPD I would not order at all.

Was very fast delivery the item was well packed.
The screws provided for the assembly cracked the second after I tried to tighten them, need to improve the quality of these screws

the prices are low, the furniture is ok, but instructions are really bad, the screws didn't match the furniture etc. I would rather pay a bit more and get a precisely made product (next time)
