I just want to say that the support was 5 stars. However, the default windows video player known as photos couldn't support VideoByte DVD rippers lossless quality mpg out put and it couldn't handle the lossless MKV audio. But I opened up a support ticket and after a little bit I got a reply telling me to download VLC. And turns out there is a version for Android which is absolutely amazing and that was able to handle both the lossless videos. The android version even has a amplified volume version which I love! But overall the support was amazing so because of that and the amazing program I rate this 5 stars!

This program has so far worked great digitizing my Blu-Ray collection. Customer support was very helpful in resetting my product key after I had to reinstall Windows 10 Pro recently. I'm very happy with the product and customer support.

Glad I checked before spending nearly $AUD170 on this crap! Does NOT read UHD Bluray discs despite being advertised as such! DO NOT BUY!

Due to our error an incorrect email address meant no registration code was received. Customer services resolved the issue and all is well. They were prompt and effective and stayed in touch to ensure all was well

I have VideoByte for 6 months and converting DVDs to a digital format is easy and the quality of picture and sound is great. I recently had PC issues and had to reinstall and the support team were very helpful in resetting my registration activation code. I would recommend VideoByte to anyone wanting to convert their DVD library.

I am a 74 year old man from Queensland, Australia and I have spent many years involved with computers and software products ranging acrosss office products, music production and video production and I often need to rip movies and audio material from Bluray and DVD media for my projects; I have had good and bad experiences with many products and I have to say, for a number of reasons, VideoByte and the VideoByte BD-DVD Ripper program in particular are right up there with the best.
My experience began on 6 August 2024 when I purchased VideoByte BD-DVD Ripper program. After using the program for some time I realised that this was by far the best fit-for-purpose program avaiable on the market and as a result it became one of my favourites.
Over the last year I have had a number of issues with my computer, including system crashes and required hardware upgrades, all of whiuch varied the "Machine ID" which indicated to the VideoByte BD-DVD Ripper program that it was a different computer or the hardware had changed and as a result I would require a new licence. On some occasions it appeared that no particular issue had caused the registration failure.
Every time I contacted the VideoByte Support Team, and over the last year this was at least once a month, without hesitation they immediately reset my registration code so that I could continue to use the program. The response of the VideoByte support Team was very quick.
Over the past year while they were in contact with me the Support Team was analysing my issues and troubleshooting with me the variuos approaches I could take to solve my recurring issues.
They identified a few other programs (PC Cleanup and Registry Fix programs) that may be interferring with the VideoByte BD-DVD Ripper program.
About a month ago, the software engineer developed a Beta version of the program which the Support Team gave me to try. I am very happy to report that this appears to have solved my problem.
Needless to say I am a very happy customer; I believe that the VideoByte BD-DVD Ripper program is the best fit-for-purpose program available and I did not want to lose the use of it. THe VideoByte Support Team did not give up in their efforts to fix my problem in the long term and I think there service was extraordinary.

I'm a 77 year old lady from Georgia whose computer crashed and burned after Heleine. I lost the registration information for my favorite software including two Video Byte programs. The Support Team was patient, respectful and as determined as me to solve my problem! My roof isn't fixed yet, but the team brought me happiness while I wait. Elon Musk might not be in the building but there are excellent rising stars making the company great. When Registration Successful appeared on the screen I wanted to dance. 😘👍 Nan Miller

Great product. I have tried several other video rippers and this one has not been the easiest to use it has been able to rip videos others could not. When I had to contact the help desk The resolved my issue withing 24 hours.

The software works as it should. When I had a problem after fresh install and contacted their helpdesk the got it sorted very quickly.

The software was exactly what I needed to convert some video used for my work from Blu-ray to H.264. It worked effortlessly.

I had an issue after my computer’s hard drive needed to be replaced that the software was no longer registered and couldn’t be registered with the old key. I sent an email and they quickly reset the key allowing me to register. They were super friendly, and I highly recommend them!

I have given VideoByte a positive level 4 star rating. I use both DVD and Blue Ray discs ripping . I am not a technical user at all So I was looking for a plug and play software package to ripe my DVD's collection to my computer so when I am traveling away from home I have a personnel place for my enjoyment of video movies.

As a plug and play user of this product any difficulty I had where of my own making mostly and where faulty external drives problems. The more I used the program I got a higher appreciation of the VideoByte software and the benefit it offers. The support I got was excellent and they talked and guided me through my problems.

I chose VideoByte to rip my Blu-rays to my Mac after comparing it to other products. It has been everything I had hoped for quality-wise and their customer service for installation and issue resolution has been prompt and thorough. I highly recommend them for quality, sales and service.

Software does not reliably recognise it has a loaded disc
Often picks the incorrect file as being the main movie, so the user has to check this.
Crashes quite often.
Does not always rip the full length of the recording even though it does correctly note how long it should be, surely thats an easy edit check which could be added by the developer?

Seems like a BETA product to me, needs to much babysitting to be a full production quality item

pd $100 got 10 mo. out of it updated my bios and now no access not worth $10.00 a month e-mailed support and nothing they got my 100 bucks live and learn scams come in different costumes

Product doesn't work with all files. Customer service dreadful, refused to give refund even though this is stated on website

I paid £50 for this software yesterday and it will not analyse any disc I try to load. Absolutely useless.

The tech emails act like they have no idea what i am talking about. I get a line across the screen every time i try to copy a disc?
