Yes I found this service extremely easy…

Yes I found this service extremely easy to use. I would recommend that you share more information before using to update customers that if an antibiotic is needed that you have the local pharmacy details.
I was in Spain and needed to travel back to the pharmacy which was half an hour away to get their details and if I new before my appointment I could of saved myself an hour.

We have a database of all Irish pharmacies and some pharmacies in the UK. However, in other EU countries, we would require that the patients have a pharmacy in mind that they wish for us to send their prescriptions to if required. We will be sure to take your feedback on board and consider compiling a larger EU database of pharmacies in the future if possible.

Doctor was great but my employer would…

Doctor was great but my employer would not accept the medical cert provided

Our Medical certs (Sick Notes) have all the correct information and should be accepted by employers without issue. However if your employer requires the information to be presented in a slightly different way we can certainly help you with this.

Would have been nice to know that they…

Would have been nice to know that they can’t make referrals for tests before I paid for the appointment as now I have to go to my GP and pay for that appointment also. Had I known this I would not have got an online doctor.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with the result in that you had to follow up with your own GP. We have refunded the charge for your consultation now. In some cases, a physical examination is required. In these instances, to ensure that your best care remains the No.1 Priority, our doctors will refer you to your regular GP. We do appreciate this can be a little frustrating, but we only do this to ensure that your best medical needs are looked after appropriately. We only provide referral letters for A&E, certain X-Rays and certain MRIs through the service.

Had a video with go told him symptoms of ear infection told me could be virus no sleep last night made appointment with my own doctor for today so 40euro wasted pay today 70euro plus medication videodoc not great

It was my first time using the Online…

It was my first time using the Online Doctor feature in VHI app and I must say it was such a great experience. I got to speak with a doctor within minutes after checking-in. The doctor was very friendly and helpful. My medicine was ready for collection in a chosen pharmacy within minutes after ending the call. Highly recommended!

Excellent service

Excellent service! Booked an appointment on my way to work and had seen the doctor and got a prescription within an hour. Quick and easy!

Doctor's are extremely friendly and made me feel at ease.

Short wait

Short wait, doc had a lovely manner, listened and answered my questions easily. Also phoned the pharmacy to make sure the prescription had gone through.

Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolute excellent service, I would highly recommend Video Doc.
To speak with a doctor that actually cares about ones issue and have the time to listen to you is reassuring that there are doctors who actually do care instead of just fobbing you off etc.
I spoke with a very understanding doctor who was a pleasure to speak with too and gave me some great advice.
I will definitely be using Video Doc again.

I had an eye infection and needed…

I had an eye infection and needed prescribed treatment for it. Sent pic to video doc and she sent prescription to my chemist and i collected it! Very handy for the likes of simple visible ailments such as above, not sure how it'd work for other more complicated issues.
