Worst customer service

This is the worst customer service I ever had. First, they are barely speaking in English, they tell you they understand but no the are not. I tried to tell them 4 times the plan I would like to get for my daughters phone and they kept saying it was not possible and ive been a customer for 12 years now!!!!! Cmon now! They are trying to scam you by adding fees for nothing. Its ridiculous. Do better videotron. Ive changed for Bell and its much better.

I would not recommend a company who…

I would not recommend a company who can't deliver.
Once I find another provider I will take the exit door. My credit was charged for devices that I had to return. I brought them back and still have not received my refund. I have been waiting for over a month. Every time I call it I get a different story.
I spoke to an agent today and I was told that it is going to be another 5 weeks.
The guy I spoke to a few weeks ago told me that it would take 1-2 weeks. How complicated is it really to do a refund?

They owe me 180$ since December 2022!!! They haven't payed me still to date 9 march 2023. Bunch of thieves, they send their untrained employees to steal from potential customers. Never do business with videotron

I called the loyalty team about my…

I called the loyalty team about my account and agent asked me to provide security question (password). I didn't know the password, so instead of asking different personal questions or send me a 2 way SMS code like any other customer service does, I was asked to visit a Videotron's store. When I asked to escalate the call, to agents declined saying that that's the policy. I find the agents lacking empathy and loyalty skills. I'm leaving to BELL.

Definitely a big zero for trying to…

Definitely a big zero for trying to access programs on the internet via their Helix system. Programs that you can access (not too many) freeze every two minutes or so, and you have to reboot Helix at least every 5 minutes.

Price would be good and competitive, if you would get what you pay for.

I am switching back to the competition, for a higher price…. But the system works there !

I’ll never come back to this frustration and misery…

I would give them zero if I could

I would give them zero if I could. I took a new cell number with them. I had a problem with my iPhone. I took it to Apple and they could’t do anything. I took it back to Videotron and they did something to the phone and all my data was lost including all the information in my notes. Plus the service department can’t seem to do anything right. I have been with them since 1980. They have gone downhill.

Very very very bad service. Given 120 mbps connection and when I check the speed it's only 17 mbps .not only for me 3 of my friends same .
I taken sim connection. I just used 2 months after that I throw it in garbage .waste of time and money .please dont take this viedotron

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service, staff don't have knowledge, putting on hold for 15 minutes then transferring to another department. After cutting down service. Paid my full bill and returned there equipment. 6 months later found out i owe them 19 dollars for God knows what. Didn't receive any bill but got collection agency calling for 19 dollars payment. Called for inquiry but they only want money no idea for what.loooers

bad internet, worse service

Switched over from bell after they promised me the same speed internet at half the price.

Should have known it was too good to be true.

The internet was slow and cut out at least twice per day.

They refused to offer a discount or rectify the situation in any way, so I switched back to bell after the first month.

Absolute garbage. Stop supporting this company so natural selection can choose them for extinction

Ive been with videotron/fizz 5+ years…

Ive been with videotron/fizz 5+ years have a business i run from home outages means $ to me, well im cancelling in a few hours, averaging 2-4 days outages per year. And when its out, its out for days until a tech can come in and try to fiddle with the signal. Im not even far from montreal.

Takes ages to get an agent on the phone, they try to help and are very polite not their fault but faulty equipement.

Also paying for 400mbps and its normal to only get 30mbps in at evenings time

It's very difficult to be creative…

It's very difficult to be creative here. Vidéotron is the worst cable service anyone can have!!! I have had plenty in Canada and the U.S. This company hires people with thick accents, impossible to understand and get really mad when we request someone in French with no foreign accent! I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO ADAPT MYSELF TO THESE IMMIGRANTS that speak a poor French and some don't speak English! I am going to make an official complaint against them, it's way past time. I will contact Pierre Paul Péladeau who is President of this terrible company. There is nothing I can write that will be useful to them. This is not my job. They don't give a hoot about anything, just bring the money in!! They subscribed me to channels I didn't subscribe to!! Of course, they charged me accordingly. Folks, don't be suckers and fall for this untruthful and untrusting company! CHECK before you subscribe to them. It's in your best interest believe me! There are tons and tons of things I want you to know but this will take way too much space. There are not enough competitors out there, so that leaves us stuck with THEM! Be very, very careful! They are very deceiving, and expensive. Verify your channels and make sure you're getting what you asked for. If you don't understand what the person is saying, file a complaint!! Don't give up especially!! Finally, write your reviews again...I read several and I agree with all of you! This is not acceptable, and I will do everything I can so that sleazy companies like these don't deserve to be in business and changes are absolutely needed!! Extremely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Videotron made the error by NOT responding accurately to our 4 west notification to stop our service from december24 2022- April 4 2023
After being promised this charge would be reversed in " next month's invoice " we have AGAIN BEEN CHARGED ANOTHER$157.52
They REFUSE TO REFUND OUR MONEY IMMEDIATELY AND AGAIN ARE SINGING THE SAME SOUND ABOUT " next month's invoice"?!?
Having been a loyal customer for close to 50 years I am appalled at their both their unfriendly attitude and EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The error is on their side and yet they REFUSE TO SETTLE THUS MATTER INMEDIATELY.
I explained how quickly they are to take our money/ constantly raise prices with no service inprovement but WON'T rectify this issue that they created.
I'm hoping my review can be read by many so you to can be warned about their VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO A LOYAL 50 YEAR CUSTOMER

This is the worst wifi you can ever get I payed for 400 speed and I can’t even used two devices without it having to disconnect 24/7 I have two TVs on one for video games and one for streaming they keep disconnecting me from the wifi it can’t even provide that how am I supposed to connect 20 devices on it This Is the worst wifi go with rogers

Overcharge for service not received

I had basic TV service from Videotron through a bulk agreement with the building. When the syndicate decided to cancel it, each owner got a letter from Videotron saying that they would like to know if we would like to continue with the service. I did not want it and did not use the equipment and neither I call to continue.
20 days later I got an invoice for $220 dlls. I called and ask what was it about and I was told not to worry, that my invoice would be adjusted but that I had to cancel my account and return the equipment as soon as possible.
I did this the same day but, 20 days later I got a new invoice for $84 dlls.
I called again and this time the agent (very kindly), explained to me that I had to pay for the first 20 days because I didn't cancelled the service right away. Although I explain everything he said there was nothing he could do.
When I asked if the price for basic TV (no extra channels, no extra equipment), was $84 dlls for 20 days of service he said that that was the old price but that now they had new and better options for lot less.
How can you trust a company that charges that much for a service that they offer for a third of that price?
I will never get any of their services again

A company representative got in touch with me and solved the issue.
