This is the third shed that we have had from Viking - the other two lasted for thirty two years, c16 years each. The men who came to dismantle the other shed and erect the new one were brilliant and also friendly and helpful in moving heavy items and completed the work in little over an hour. The quality and appearance of the shed inside & out is excellent.

Just had my new garden shed erected and I’m really pleased with it.Very sturdy well made. Erected in no time at all, lads just got on with it. Highly recommended.

I cannot complain about the quality or build of the shed but then again having spent close to £3k you would expect this. What was really disappointing was the lack of aftersales care. I’d spoken to Viking several times before purchasing the shed about the site and placement of the shed which was on soft sloping ground. They advised me to purchase a base which they advised me would address this problem. However what I didn’t realise until the shed was built was how significantly it lifted the shed. I was concerned not only that the height of the shed might breach building regs as it was located next to my neighbours boundary but also that there was huge step up to get into the shed. So I couldn’t wheel my lawnmower into the shed and simply getting in and out of the shed was difficult. I contacted Viking times to try and see what could be done but they just ignored me. Eventually (I believe the owner) said he’d come out personally and try and build some kind of step but again never did. This has been extremely stressful particularly as I have a £3,000 shed that I couldn’t use. Fortunately, another workman offered to build me a step so I can at least get into the shed easier but I would not recommend Viking Sheds because of their lack of aftercare service.

Viking Garden Buildings was very helpful and offered sound advice and solutions without the hard sell. Ordering was easy, our shed was made, delivered and installed 10 days after ordering. The fitters phoned on the morning of delivery to confirm their arrival time, arrived on time and installed without a fuss. A super local family business to deal with, perhaps not the cheapest but we are confident that we have bought well.

After searching for a new storage shed for our back garden, and receiving positive recos about Viking from friends who are long standing residents of Stafford, we decided to proceed. The whole process was smooth, efficient and communicated well from the beginning. The delivery/build team were punctual and worked quickly without cutting corners. We are exceptionally impressed with our overall experience and the look and qual of our shed. We elected to disassemble and dispose of our old shed as we felt the quote to include this from Viking was a little steep, we also realise there are similar cheaper new sheds to be found online, however, generally we find you get what you pay for and would not hesitate to recommend Viking.

Fitters were very professional and did a great job

A great service from start to finish. Good advice when they initially came out. Staff extremely helpful and friendly on the phone. The day of the fitting was great, nothing was too much trouble for the fitters. Cleaned up after. Altogether extremely satisfied. The shed looks great and now I can get to everything.

Absolute delight dealing with Viking - they do exactly what they say, everything is seamless and done in a very friendly way. Shed is great too! Have already recommended them to friends, and i look forward to my next purchase...

Great personal service during ordering process, very good communication and the guys that erected the shed were punctual, polite and efficient, though they forgot to bring the paint they dropped it off first thing the next morning.
Very happy with the shed and loving the lavender paint too!

I had previously bought a shed without any issues so ordered a Pent summerhouse with a ground screw base in September 2024 which was finally erected in October 2024
In March 2025 reported that the doors had shrunk to such an extent that they would no longer close.
After several emails finally their fitters came in May 2025 to fit a spacer to push the doors together. However this resulted in there being gaps to the top of the right hand door and frame visible inside, and unequal door hanging.
The fitters reported that the door frame had moved and that there was an approximate 10mm warp in the frame.
There followed a heated telephone conversation with the business' owner, first with the fitters who told him about the warped frame and then with me concluding that he was unwilling to proceed further and replace the defective door frame and that ‘my building meets the (high) standards of Viking Garden Buildings'. I am now left with a door frame which is pulling apart, gaps in the frame and door and an uneven door hanging.
I emailed Viking subsequently and have heard no further.
You can't sue nothing even if the product breaches the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
