Sent my old optolyth spotting scope in for repair/service. Couldn't believe how good a job they have done. For a scope that's probably 40 years old it's like new. Crystal clear & the focus is really smooth.they kept me updated with the work being done & when they had sent it back to me. Couldn't be happier. Thank you so much

Very helpful when I called for advice.
My binoculars were returned to me super quickly and were back to feeling new. A new strap had been put on for me. I don’t know what else had been done but the service was fantastic and at no charge.

I got rid of all my Zeiss Equipment (I was a lifelong Zeiss user 40 years!), because of the companies on-going strong ties to hunting birds, big game, and of course, military use.

I changed my optics to the Viking 10x42 Osprey, Viking Swallow ED Spotting Scope, and Kowa 6.5x32 (Kowa have a weak link, but not too concerning).

I thought I might notice, but this was no downgrade in either optical performance or service as Viking are excellent in both areas. I should also note, though I did not purchase from them, that Opticron are also an excellent ethical brand in this regard.

Both Nicola and Edward were very helpful and friendly when I broke my Kowa spotting scope. They had to order parts in and then executed a thorough repair and fully serviced the scope. The telescope is now as good as new. I can heartily recommend Viking Optical.

Very efficient and prompt repair to my spotting scope but a pity that I had to pay the courier cost of returning the scope for a warranty repair.

Excellent service and communication . Repaired our kestrel binoculars quickly and kept us informed if the progress.

Absolutely above and beyond. I was trying to change the shim on a hide clamp. No possibility of a sale. I spoke to someone in accounts, who took my number to arrange a call back. The technician did so within the hour. We couldn't quite sort it over the phone. I sent him pictures, and he responded with a video as to how to solve my problem. I've indeed solved it, inspired by his help. I am just delighted with the quality of service, and the interest taken in my issue, completely independently of any possible sale. Absolutely terrific!

The communication with their repair centre was excellent, the quality of the workmanship was first class - and tracked delivery of the finished article back in the time they promised .

We visited the Edinburgh shop to buy a pair of binoculars for use when out walking. The member of staff was exceptionally helpful, sorting out pairs that would meet our needs and helping us judge what suited our needs. She was keen that we bought exactly what met our needs. Outstanding service.

I needed replacement eye caps and lens caps for my binoculars and I was recommended to contact Viking Optical Centres. Their service was excellent. Edward kept me informed as to what parts I needed and when to expect delivery. He went out of his way to provide me with instructions for gluing the rubber eye cap back in place. A very helpful, friendly customer interaction. Thank you.

Viking were very helpful and provided an excellent service. My 40 year old Leitz binoculars were cleaned and repaired and are as good as new. I would definitely recommend Viking for binocular repairs and servicing.

Excellent, professional service from start to finish - a receptionist who knew the business, through to an experienced binoculars repairer who know his "bins" - unlike some other repairers for whom the repair was "all too difficult"!

My 35 year old binoculars, well travelled, needed a lot of TLC. Was recommended to use Viking. I found them helpful and polite they gave me a price for the repair with no deposit required. Ready in two weeks. Need to be delivered, great packaging although courier let us down (DHL).

I have had a pair of Viking binoculars for many years & they have never faulted. Sadly, I had an accident with them & I had to send them off for repair to Viking. From the very first email the customer service was A1. I was kept informed throughout the whole repair process. I even had a lengthy conversation & enjoyable with one of their staff regarding new against old, if the repair cost was too much. Eventually the repair was done & my binoculars were soon returned, I was also kept informed about their return from leaving the centre to arriving back home. My advice, do not hesitate to use Viking for buying new or a repair. A reliable old fashioned (in a good way) approach from start to finish. Thank you all at Viking.

I decided to order my new binoculars from here again since last experience was exceptional and you've done it again Viking. My item was packaged very well and arrived next day as promised. Also thanks for the free pen and microfibre cloth Kyle! I Will continue to use Viking for future purchases and i highly reccommend them especially for the freebees.
