Bait & switch scam

Bait & switch scam. You think you're getting a VIN lookup report on a vehicle in Australia but you're signing up to a $30 (USD?) per fortnight subscription for nothing with no benefit, and you don't see any info about this

FRAUDSTERS. DON'T USE

Very deceptive company that advertises $1 per report and end up debiting you multiple times with different accounts from $4.95 to $29.95 every other week.

No option to sign out. Anyway I got their information and threatened them with the Californian law that mandates easy unsuscribe same way you subscribed before they stopped the deduction. This was after they kept asking that I call a number(that never picks) to unsuscribe

Trustpilot should sue vinhistorygo.com

vinhistorygo.com claims to have a Trustpilot rating of 5*, right above the offer of a vehicle report for $1.
My bank (CBA) suggested I review the transaction which is when I learned that I had been charged $45, recurring fortnightly. Scam. Trustpilot should sue.

VinHistoryGo.com is a SCAM site. DO NOT USE IT.
It indicates no questions refunds etc and does not.
It sent a report with NO information and then completed three transactions on my VISA account.

Did not give me much info and yes they seem to auto sign you up for a subscription. I called the number on the website and was refunded for the subscription. My question is how many of their customers need a subscription??? If I get a refund that earns them 3 stars.

Misleading and likely a scam

Echoing what other people have said on here.

Misleading website all the way through. Advertises a check for $1 and then puts you straight on a monthly subscription with no confirmation email or anything.

Then proceed to take money out in 3 monthly intervals - probably a scam - use someone else

absolutely awful company

absolutely awful company. They took a further $30 out of my account, unprompted. When i tried to get my money back i was sent on a endless trip of asking, receiving promises and getting nothing. I’ve contacted my bank for fraud because that’s what this is. Absolutely awful customer service. As well as this report was really bad, something you could get for free online but they make you think it’s some important information that is secretive and really important to know. It wasn’t. If i could give it no stars i absolutely would.

Complete and utter scam

Complete and utter scam. Site offers to provide Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) for $1. Upon entering car and credit card details a charge of $20USD and a transaction fee was charged to my credit card. The amount in AUD was $36.59. A refund was promised but not provided.

Criminal scam that should be prosecuted. Have reported the site to the Australian Corruption and Crime Commission, the Kentucky Attorney General's Office and Google Ads Complaints.

The scammer is Spencer William Quesenberry and his business name is QBI LLC located at 3010 Eastwood Dr, Crestwood, KY, 40014.

Someone needs to go there and shut him down.
