Terrible. Avoid at all costs.

It's very sad - it used to provide a great service. It doesn't seem to have managed Brexit at all well. Obviously prices have gone up, as we now have to pay British excise rather than Spanish which is diddly squat. But from the reviews below it seems that they still haven't organised their delivery chain. My last order, in March took about six weeks, but as a reward for my patience, I was given a discount against my next order. However, it doesn't seem a good idea to be redeeming it just now.

I like wine. I buy lots, from all over Europe. I use a variety of company's.
I thought I would give Vinissimus a try as I was looking for a particular Italian white which my wife loves and while searching it came up on Vinissimus's site on offer. So.........
21 May placed my order.
Two weeks later received an email saying the vintage I ordered was unavailable. Would I like the later vintage. OK, that'll do.
THEN they couldn't get the 8 bottles I ordered only six. OK, that'll do.
THEN there was a delay getting it from Spain. But its an Italian wine????
Delay, delay delay.
THEN Vinissimus's carrier UPS shut its warehouse where all the wine was shipped from. Really?
THEN yesterday 5th JULY!! I cancelled my order and received a refund.
I've ordered the wine from a trusted reputable wine importer who assured me I'll have it by this time next week.
Honestly thought that company's like this didn't exist anymore.

Avoid. No wine, no response to emails, no answer from their phone numbers, which appear to be in Spain. Seems to be a scam.

I ordered my wine over a month ago with expected delivery in 10 days and... still no wine. Customer services kept assuring me it was on the way but it never arrived. Finally I requested a refund and they completely ignored me. The office contact numbers they provide ring through with no response and no answering machine. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Ordered champagne as it was £10 cheaper per bottle from here. No delivery 6 weeks after and now they're not refunding my money either. Don't trust them and don't order from them. I didn't listen now I'm out £100.

Wines did not arrive after 3 weeks, too late for celebration they were bought for, offered me a refund, had charged me £40 and then said they refunded me in euros / £7 less than I was charged. They advertise a Uk address, London but have no Uk contact number. Avoid this company like the plague!!!!

Previously I had used Vinissimus and was happy with the level of service. However this time around they offered a very disappointing service. I ordered wines on the 3rd of May which were to be delivered between 14-24 which was fine as I needed them for a special occasion on the 28th. On the 25th I emailed Vinissimus to inquire as to why they hadn't arrived and was told they wouldn't be delivered until some time during the week commencing the 31st. A refund was offered which i had to accept as I had to go buy the wines elsewhere. If there are delays as a result of Brexit, then Vinissimus should warn their customers in advance and not advise of overly optimistic delivery times.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO SEND A GIFT

Dreadful service and clueless support.

Delayed a birthday gift by over a month, sent the wrong bottle and struggled to read emails at every stage. Awful awful service

i made an order for a Xmas present on Dec 12. order initially delayed because one of the ordered item was not in stock, then cancelled because apparently was not possible to deliver for Christmas with the promise to refund. then, after i spent money to take alternative
arrangements ( as the order had been cancelled), they delivered the order and charged me. unacceptable service,

These guys are great. Always a good delivery, nothing broken so far in about 10 orders. I don't like the shipping costs at all, it can add £30 to your order - but they have some great wines for £7-8, which I can't see to find anywhere else. If I could change anything I'd suggest free delivery over £100 or with 12 bottles. If I've spent £200 on 12 bottles, it does hurt to pay an extra £30 shipping, but such is life.

A fantastic selection.
Having been to this area of Spain (Duero) for work a few times, I've been fortunate to have had some superb wine of an evening - and at a very reasonable cost.
The RdD wines in the UK supermarkets are ok, but expensive really for the quality.
This place has hundreds to choose from, both cheaper and more expensive than UK, and all the ones I've tried have been excellent. And if you go expensive, they are truly superb!
Don't look anywhere else for your Christmas Reds.

I have ordered from this company several times. I'm a sherry lover and find that they have a good selection at a better price than is generally available in the UK. I also buy some port through them.

The wines come well packaged and on time. They use UPS for delivery, so you can track the order and receive updates when things are delayed or arriving early.

On one occasion I received conflicting shipping information and emailed them to clarify. They responded promptly and clearly and the goods arrived as expected.

Overall, an excellent experience.

Used several times for some Wine we found on holiday in Mallorca and can't get anywhere in the UK. Wine arrived on time in secure packaging and as promised. Recommended.

Wide selection of Spanish wine at fair price and promptly shipped. Worth looking at if you are after some interesting Spanish wine often not available in the UK.

I placed an order for six bottles of brandy and wine last Monday afternoon. The order was delivered early Friday evening. I was able to track my order and when it arrived from Spain, I was impressed by how well it was packaged. Everything was in tip top condition. Based on this experience, I would not hesitate to use this company again. (Note: When ordering you will be charged in Euros – even though you may have opted to see the prices in pounds. If you can, use a credit card which does not charge commission.)
