Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported being charged more than the advertised price, including additional charges that appeared on their statements. These additional charges were often for subscriptions that customers reported not having explicitly agreed to, and they often received empty or useless reports instead of the promised vehicle information. Reviewers consistently found the refund process to be frustrating and ineffective, with many struggling to get their money back or receiving only partial refunds. Many consumers felt the website's pricing and subscription model was unclear, leading to concerns about the company's practices. Consequently, some people took steps to prevent further unexpected charges.

Scam

It is a scam, they are generating empty PDF files disguised as an error in their system just to scam out bank card data from people.

Scam! Similar issue what's people been…

Similar issue what's people been talking about here. Instead of charge $1, they charged me $30 without consent and sent a blank report. Upon inquiring, they said they will refund the money in 5-7 business day. Still waiting for the refund. Let's see. If they send the refund to me, I will surely edit my review and be honest about their support system.

Pure SCAM! AVOID!

AVOIT AT ALL COSTS!

As people have said before me, they are charging you 1$ for the report, which you will never get anyway(my case). And 1 minute later they charge 30$ for a subscription... They answered me in chat, and said they will refund, but i don't believe they will. Even if they will, it's still a SCAM.

Scammers

Scammers, they charge you $30 for a subscription you do not need. I am calling their support and they pick up and put you on hold until they eventually hang up.

They will steal your money

They will steal your money , you will pay 30€ for a single inaccurate report, because when you try to cancel your subscription they will wait to answer you until the money is charged from your card

SCAM

Well, what can i say...ITS A SCAM.
They were very quick to tack my money and give me a blank report...actually about a dozen blank reports.
Then you get the pleasure to talk to the live chat line that tells you that they are a third party but have sent out a request to the Billing team to resolve the issue.
The billing team representative is a sincere guy called Steven Shroud...lovelly fellow i might add, that just keeps going around in circles. Gosh, im getting quite dizzy reading all this shit. Steven, lovelly fellow keeps telling me to let him know what the problem are...and i do, but he must not speak english as i get the same reply...let me know how i can help...and i do...and you get my point, dont you.
I GOT RIPPED OFF, ITS A SCAM.

SCAM!

Like most people here said. They advertised a 1 USD charge, then took 30 USD. I tried canceling the subscription that I did not know I signed up for and requested a refund.
Got comfirmation that both are approved. Was charged again 30 USD the next month.
Had to contact my bank and cancel my card to stop this madness

VINReportsPro.com is a complete scam

VINReportsPro.com is a complete scam. They advertise their service as costing only $1 to check your report and promise to send a PDF with all the vehicle's information. However, after paying, you are automatically enrolled in a hidden subscription that charges you monthly without any consent. Even when you reach out to cancel or request a refund, they might send emails confirming it—but the refunds never happen.

The customer support is practically non-existent. Their chat support is just one person who never replies, and they never respond to emails. The reports themselves are unreliable and lack essential details. The only way to stop their fraudulent charges is to go to your bank, request a chargeback, and block future transactions.

Avoid VINReportsPro.com at all costs. It’s deceptive, unethical, and a complete scam designed to trap users with hidden fees and non-existent support. Stay far away. Even to this day, they're not refunding the transaction, on 11th of November. First time I ever interacted with them was the 12th of October 2024. Instead, they charged the fraudulent subscription.

They are fraudsters

They are fraudsters; hence must be avoided completely. The first red flag was the lack of a Paypal payment option. They will advertise check for $1 but will charge your credit card a total of $31.

Scam

They will charge you for $30 instead of $1 dollar as they are advertising. The transfer will go through without you approving it and they will never refund you. I have been contacting them for over a month but never received a reply from them. If you have been charged for $30 you better call your CC and perform a charge back with your credit card company because they will never refund your money if you contact them by email
