Worst money money i have ever spent

Worst money money i have ever spent. I bought the 3 of the 20 piece "too good to throw away" bundles and let me say It would be a disgrace to do anything but throw them away. For what was described as no low quality filler and all wearable items that was complete rubbish. Not to mention that it was menswear but had womens tube tops, bra pads in them and womens sleep wear. I expected to have a few, half or a bit more poor items but it was much more. I got 3 of the 20 pieces bundles. 60 items. I had 4 good clothes and maybe 8 semi wearable garments.
Wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I purchased the £80 box as gift for my daughter. The items received were very poor. One was badly soiled and one other had clearly shrunk in the wash. The other three items were heavily worn and certainly not premium brands
I received the order in a grey plastic bag.
I had expected to receive it in a branded box in line with the marketing information
I am hugely disappointed with my purchase. I could have done better buying five items at the local charity shop, which would probably have cost me £20 and would have been better quality

Do not get caught up with them.

Do not get caught up with them.
They didn’t even make it past dispatch.
I ordered 153€ worth of vintage clothes - kind of crazy pricing if you think about it (the mystery carhart box 5-10pcs) and delivery was advertised within 3-5 business days (EU).
Well…
I’ve waited 16 days in total, wrote messages, never got told a dispatch date nor was my order ever dispatched.
In the end I filed a claim with my bank and got my money back through that.
So don’t believe the fancy instagram ads - go hunt the clothes on your own, cheaper, more rewarding and not misleading

Don't waste your money

Don't be drawn in by their colorful website and "what ifs". I ordered £250 worth of clothes, fully expecting to have some pieces I wouldn't like, I'd give away maybe even sell. But what I got was what I can only describe as a bin bags worth full of what you wouldn't even leave to the charity.
A bag full of bleak, grey rags.
Not one item out of what must of been 20 items I kept. I drove them straight to the recycling center.
Not one bit of color, a make I new or anything that remotely what's on offer from their website.
I know it's all part of the fun of not knowing what your getting. But honestly, don't waste your money, use a different website.
An absolute racket.

Don’t be fooled

Don’t be fooled, got my order today and it all went straight in the bin, waste of £100. It’s all cheap and tatted clothes, no decent brands like they advertised.

Ordered one box

Ordered one box, a summer box with a free piece of Carhart clothing. Chose my sizes XL for tops and 36” for bottoms. It took a while to arrive, got two hoodies, two long sleeve shirts, one pair of jeans. Not very summery in my opinion. Also sizes were XXL, so the shirts are massive, the hoodies are wearable, the jeans I can’t get anywhere near done up and I can wear 34” usually. So sizing is off on all accounts. Both hoodies and one of the shirts are clearly stained with something that won’t wash out. To top it off the indicated free Carhart piece valued at £70 was a cap, which I’m sure you could buy new for less and it was crumpled and misshaped from packaging. A bad experience all round, this is not a good way to pick up nice branded clothing that’s good value. Won’t be using them again. Gave two stars for the fact I did receive 6 items, but they are poor in quality and misleading in their advertising and marketing.

Horrendous stay clear

This is my first review but feel like people need warning! This company is Absolutely horrendous! Don’t waste your money or time. The items received are of very low quality out of the 23 items across two various boxes there were very few branded items, poor response to emails, scam marketing emails. Definitely don’t get your hopes up about the free jacket because that won’t arrive either. Items definitely not washed or taken care of very random sizes. Most of this won’t even be good enough to go to the charity shop, some might be okay to wash the car. Website only show the very few acceptable items they have.

Really disappointed with my experience…

Really disappointed with my experience ordering from The Vintage Box Company.

The main issue is the way the mystery boxes are marketed. The website allows you to choose between A, B, and C boxes, but it never clearly explains what those letters actually mean in terms of quantity or value. The way it’s presented strongly implies that the boxes are different tiers - for example, that one may contain 3 items, another 5 items, and another 8 items.

Because of this, I ordered two different box types specifically to make sure I would receive at least one higher-value or larger bundle. Instead, both boxes arrived as basic 3-piece boxes, which made the whole A/B/C system feel misleading and pointless.

The actual items themselves were also underwhelming for the price. One of the “premium” items was simply an IZOD tank top, which felt very far removed from the impression created by the marketing and social media content, furthermore, all had stains or were badly worn.

I completely understand that mystery boxes are a gamble, but customers should still be given clear and transparent information about what the different box categories actually represent before spending their money. At the moment, the advertising creates expectations that are not properly explained or clarified.

Genuine customer - order ending 9926.
