They will block your account and steal…

They will block your account and steal your money if a buyer claims false item. Even if the item is authentic (an electronic that cannot be falsified due to connecting to company servers), you provide them with invoice, proof of purchase from merchant website , email proof of purchase, PayPal transaction, card transaction, video of packaging and photos of the item. They are big thieves I will sue them.

Very bad costumer service, lost money

Very bad costumer service, they don’t even properly read your case. Take ages to respond and are super unhelpful. Sold an item to someone who did not pick it up, in the meantime I was on a holiday so when it was sent back to me I could not pick it up. The parcel was marked as delivered which was wrong, the buyer got her money back and I lost the parcel and money. Vinted didn’t do anything to help me. They wasted my time with stupid messages from incompetent staff.

No Seller Protection

Terrible customer service. All automated bots. No way to get in touch with a real person. No seller protection at all. I only sold one item on Vinted, never again!

One of the poorest experiences I've had online.
I opened an account. Listed 2 items, updated the price on one item.
My account was BANNED for fraudulent activitity, which was completely not the case.
I contacted them many times, and just got bot replies.
After almost a month nothing had happened, account still banned, no explanation. I was told to be patient! I then requested that my account was deleted, still no resolution. I checked today - my account has gone! What a monumental waste of time. They deserve to lose customers if this is what they call customer service. Avoid.

These people are the pits.

These people are the pits.
Beyond Bad.

My first order with Vinted was abandoned in the alley at the side of my garage. It had teethmarks. Probably used as a chew toy by a neighbour's dog.

I filed a claim with Vinted. Which they ignored.

I asked them for the address of the buisness seller. They refused to supply this.

We went to Court. The UK MCOL Court found in my favour. Vinted owe me £108.18 under Judgement. Case M7QZ8X3E. 16.03.2026.

Vinted have been reported to Trading Standards for allowing yet another Business Seller to masquerade as a Private Individual.

And.... where's my money ?

Absolutely appalling customer service…

Absolutely appalling customer service from Vinted.

I have been trying to get my account reviewed and unblocked since the 25th of April and it has honestly been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with.

My account was blocked over allegations relating to an item I listed, yet despite repeatedly asking for clarification and evidence, I have received nothing but automated, copy-and-paste responses over and over again. I was asked to provide photos and additional evidence, which I did numerous times exactly as requested, yet every reply feels completely robotic and ignores the points I am actually raising.

The whole process has gone around in circles for weeks through Resolver with absolutely no real help from an actual person. No transparency, no accountability, and no proper explanation. Just endless generic replies that clearly are not addressing the information being sent.

It is beyond frustrating trying to resolve something with a company that appears to rely entirely on automated responses rather than genuine customer support. I have wasted an unbelievable amount of time trying to sort this out and still seem no further forward.

I genuinely would not recommend Vinted to anyone based on the way I have been treated. Everything is fine until there is a problem with your account — then you realise there is effectively no real customer service at all.

Extremely disappointing experience. if it takes this for someone from Vinted to actually solve this issue it would be great. but i certainly dont have any faith at all

Vinted are refusing to refund me

Vinted are refusing to refund me for a product I paid for that never arrived. They said they have already refunded me and they asked me to send bank statements. I sent then pictires from a complete bank statement perfectly clear but somebody called Sirine is refusing to accept it saying they are blurry which is completely false as this is taken from a screenshot from the bank statement, how can that be blurry. It is unacceptable. I had never gad any problems and never had to get a refund but this is the first time and this person simply refuses to escalate it to her managers. I have never come across this in my life.

Vinted: 21st Century Technology, Stone Age Support

My problem with Vinted is no longer just about one failed transaction. This latest situation simply became the final example of a much bigger issue I’ve experienced repeatedly with their support system.

Over time, I’ve used Vinted both as a seller and as a buyer, and honestly, I cannot remember a single situation where support genuinely helped resolve a problem fairly. Not one.

The pattern is always the same:
- delayed responses,
- template-based replies,
- minimal actual investigation,
- and eventually a message implying that further questions may simply be ignored or answered automatically.

In my latest case, an item was physically shipped, successfully delivered, and the buyer confirmed safe receipt and satisfaction. Yet because the wrong shipping label was accidentally printed, Vinted refused payment entirely despite clear proof of delivery and honest communication from both sides.

What makes the situation worse is that I reported the issue immediately, but support responses took several days. During that time, the system automatically cancelled the order and closed any possibility of resolving the transaction normally.

Human mistakes happen. That is understandable.
What is difficult to understand is a support system that appears unable or unwilling to apply common sense even when:
- tracking confirms delivery,
- the buyer confirms receipt,
- and both parties clearly acted honestly and in good faith.

The overall impression is that Vinted’s support structure is designed primarily around automation and limiting responsibility, rather than actually resolving customer issues.

Everything works smoothly when fees, commissions, or payments are collected by the platform. But the moment a user genuinely needs help, the experience often becomes silence, delays, template responses, and deflection.

Waiting 4–6 days for meaningful support responses during active transaction problems should not be considered normal for a platform operating at this scale.

I understand that large marketplaces rely on automation. But there still needs to be an effective human escalation process when real-world situations fall outside rigid system templates. Right now, it often feels like that process simply does not exist.

Absolutely disgusted by this platform

Absolutely disgusted by this platform. I have been selling on vinted for years now. Bought the odd items here and there. Recently I purchased a jellycat that turned out to be extremely fake and obvious signs pointed this out! Didn't take a genius to see that. I escalated it to vinted immediately through 3 different options, of course the 'bot' got back in touch with its automated response but after the first day Absolutely no response at all for 4 days! The seller requested a return at my expense! Vinted are basically siding with the seller and forcing me to send a clear fake item back! I am not happy to do this and want a refund immediately as its within the terms and conditions that a counterfeit item does not require a return and should be refunded! I have contacted court today and I am taking vinted to court as this is completely unacceptable and sellers are let to sell fakes as they wish! Joke of a platform.. I only have until the 19th to either return this ugly fake or cancel and keep losing me a lot of money!!! Vinted legal email is an absolute waste of time as they don't even get in touch!

No real help with counterfeiting

My complaint :

I have been traveling, so unfortunately I was not able to notify this within the 2-day timeframe. If needed, I can also provide documentation from Loro Piana confirming that this item is not authentic.

Thank you for issuing the refund.

That said, I also feel your platform may already be aware that this issue exists. On several occasions when I wanted to pay for an authenticity verification, I received a message stating that if I chose verification, shipping to my address would no longer be possible. To me, this creates a system where counterfeit items can continue circulating, because realistically most buyers will not discover authenticity issues within only two days.

This is, of course, not an acceptable way of conducting business, and I would strongly encourage you to address this internally as well.

Froud on Vinted

I am here exactly my problem with Vinted and the seller!
I bought a laptop from the seller jarjar38410 the thing that confused me Vinted released the payment even after rising my issue within 48 hours!!
I have tried to explain the situation but I didn't get any help from. VINTED and the is not on the page since he left his last message!!!!!

Vinted account has been blocked…

My Vinted account has been blocked without any clear explanation, and I have been unable to buy or sell for weeks.
I can still browse the platform, but all actions are restricted.

I have contacted support multiple times and only received automated replies that do not address my issue. I cannot access my inbox or the appeal link inside the app, so I have no way to follow the instructions they keep sending me.

I am simply asking for a manual review by a real human, but I have not received any assistance.

This situation is extremely frustrating, and I hope Vinted will finally look into my case and restore my account.

Selling platform on a tectonic plate.

Sold on Vinted for 12 months. In that time encountered every imaginable problem you can care to think of. Lost parcels, scammers, money withdrawal issues, abuse, appalling customer service from AI only bots.

This month they randomly banned me for literally no reason whatsoever. No recourse, no explanation, just booted off despite having over 500+ positive reviews detailing how delighted my buyers were.

Vinted is not a serious selling platform. It’s a scammers paradise, run with absolutely no support whatsoever.

Shame. Please do not waste your time selling there.

I bought some trousers which were…

I bought some trousers which were wrongly sized several weeks ago ,what should be a normal refund procedure is turning into a situation where I’m increasingly worried that I won’t receive a refund due to Vinteds appalling customer service , all I get is automated service replies saying they will contact me in 48 hours , that was 3 weeks ago , doesnt help that the seller refuses to reply to my messages . I know so nanhh y other people who won’t touch Vinted and now I know why , stick with eBay people , at least you can speak to someone 😞

My item was BROKEN during the delivery and Vinted didn’t give me any refund!

Customer service is VERY BAD and replies with the same automated messages. Even the buyer was agreeing that I packed the item sufficiently, still no refund!

Ok so i was sending parcel with GLS and…

Ok so i was sending parcel with GLS and compartment did not open,called GLS and they say contact Vinted...ok send message to Vinted and it took 2 days to even respond!!! And then when they finaly responded nothing is being resolved. Again they said i have to wait for 120 hours to get an answer!!! No e mail niether to write to them,no number to call,no help at all!! The most dumb thing of all is that in their app it says that the parcel is on its way to the buyer!?

There is no incentive for sellers to be honest. All returns are paid for by the buyer unless you can get the seller to agree to pay the return postage. Sellers are happy for you to return items if it costs them nothing. My wife and I are new to vinted, in the first 4 purchases and 1 sale we both had several issues. I had a badly repaired item with the damage hidden. My wife had cancellations of purchases, no explanation, and a sale where the item was delivered to the wrong address. I shall be cancelling my vinted account. The way it's structured gives rise to unscrupulous sellers taking advantage of loop holes.
