​"I have been a loyal user of this platform for over 4 years, maintaining a flawless profile with hundreds of 5-star reviews and zero issues. Suddenly, my account was permanently banned for 'violating terms' with no specific explanation.
​I have contacted support multiple times, offering evidence and asking for a manual review, but they keep responding with generic, automated messages. They refuse to provide proof of my alleged 'infraction' and have stated the decision is final, even blocking me from creating a new account.
​It is pathetic that a company treats its best users like criminals. You have stolen my time, my reputation, and my effort of 4 years. Their 'customer support' is just a wall of bots. Do not trust this app; they can destroy your business and your hard-earned reputation in a second without any justification. SHAMEFUL.

generally its a pretty good app but…

generally its a pretty good app but there are some annoying things that lead to only a 3 star rating: 1. the algorithm is horrible, once you look for a specific item your home page will be ONLY this item. 2. the shipping prices are so expensive, especially if you don’t live in a big city, for example when an item costs 10 bucks it gets to the point where i pay almost 20 because i gotta pay about 3€ for buyers insurance and 6€ for shipping fees. 3. you often times have people selling you items that then come in the wrong size, or damaged and then you have to argue a shit ton for getting your money back of which you only get a part back because the shipping fees again, go on YOU.

No real buyer protection

As a buyer, I feel vinted doesn't really give so called buyer protection. I bought a keyboard based on the picture the seller uploaded. It was qwerty. We decided to buy from the seller because of the uploaded pictures. Then the seller apparently sent us a qwertz keyboard. We insist that we don't want to pay for the return label back to the seller because we already paid for the first shipping fee. But the seller doesn't want to give us free return label. We contacted vinted support, as we have the so called buyer protection, but no, vinted didn't help us at all! They insist that we should discuss this ourselves with the buyer. Then what's this buyer protection for? Wouldn't it be better to just call it marketplace fee, if you don't intend to protect buyer at all? I'm really disappointed and swear that we wouldn't buy from vinted again and instead just use this place as a seller, because it's apparently more favourable to the sellers.

Vinted is great

I think Vinted is a great opportunity to get rid of stuff and even getting money for it and to find great new things. From my experiences the community is very friendly and supportive and I‘ve never had any problems. If there is one, you can ask the Vinted Team for help and they‘ll help you. I‘d say Vinted is a great app.

Customer Support is horrible

Customer Support is horrible. Vinted is a good platform to buy and sell, IF everything goes right. I sent out an item, that got stuck with DPD and needed 3 weeks to be delivered. My order got canceled, the buyer got his money back AND the item. Support doesn't care and hides behind meaningless copy and paste articles.

Unacceptable seller support – lost money, ignored by Vinted

I lost a significant amount of money as a seller because Vinted offers virtually no protection for vendors.
Support responses are purely automated and meaningless. They do not address the issue at all. When you ask again or challenge the response, the chat is simply closed without any solution.
As a seller, you are completely left on your own. This level of customer support is unacceptable. I strongly advise sellers to avoid this platform.

Sellers have no protection - unfair refund system

I am extremely disappointed with Vinted’s system and customer support.

As a seller, you basically have no rights. Buyers can claim an item arrived damaged even when it was sent in perfect condition. This seems to be a known loophole that allows buyers to request refunds while keeping the item.

Despite providing all requested information and evidence about the item, Vinted’s customer service still sided with the buyer. I lost both the item and the money.

There is no real investigation, no seller protection, and no fair dispute process. The burden of proof is entirely on the seller, yet even detailed documentation doesn’t seem to matter.

This system encourages abuse and makes selling on Vinted risky and frustrating. I would not recommend selling valuable items here unless you are willing to lose them without compensation.

No Seller Protection, No Buyer Protection

No Seller Protection, No Buyer Protection, why because they hire support team to monitor the listings and transactions and claims whom are part of the problems, bunch of scam artists sitting by their computers getting paid while rerouting valuable packages to their own friend and families claiming lost undelivered. Here is the important part, they insist you use Vinted system for payment and shipping WHY? because when you use their system and create a shipping label the OWNER and SENDER of that package is VINTED not you and VINTED is the one who could make a claim with courier if they ever do NOT YOU as SELLER, so if you use your own courier you could open a claim based on information and ask them to investigate what happened to the lost package but when you as seller used Vinted system to create shipping label courie will not even answer your inquiry. Bunch of scam artists sitting in Lithuania hiring worst of the gangs from countries you have never heard of for under $1 wage a day to handle your transactions, now it is up to you if you want to trust them. And if any legal authority would challenge this claim I welcome them with with at least 100 cases with documents and screenshots from Vinted or we could run a test transaction so they could see how systematic stealing through e-commerce has been planned here. And if they could not scam you and you play your game right they will simply close your account or restrict you from BUYING and SELLING because that is not how they make their money simply by buying and selling members most of their money comes from STEALING.
