Sold a bowl. Only described it as a bowl. The buyer clearly thought it was silver. I never wrote it was. In fact I never even described the material. He then sends pictures of him putting abrasive acid on it and tells me he wants to return it. As I refuse he disputes it with Vinted who asks me to show proof of authenticity. But they can’t tell me what I need to authenticate. They then tell me I have to accept the return as I didn’t provide enough evidence of authenticity. And again they can’t tell me what to authenticate and keeps sending me a standard copy pasted reply. They also completely ignore that the buyer has now damaged the bowl by putting acid on it. Do not sell on Vinted!!!! It’s a waste of time and money and they completely neglect the sellers. And you end up with damaged items

Too many scammers and fake products.
The idea of the site is great. But they allow way too many fake items, and don’t protect sellers that well.

I’ve had quite a few problems while selling. Buyers complain and there’s nothing you can do other than accept a loss.

Wish too see improvement in the future.

Platform is great. I really like and support the idea and practice of circular economy.
However, Vinted itself isn't customer friendly when you actually need their support. I purchased a pair of trousers described as 'new without tags'. When I received them, one of the hems is completely unraveled and requires sewing. The buy replied that she didn't realize that until now, but refused to pay for the return shipping. Despite 'Buyer protection', Vinted didn't step in to support. Robot replies a same answer.
This is first time that I ever needed a support from Vinted side and obviously buyer isn't protected and has to pay the price despite the false description.

Too much annoying ad about your services.

Embarrassing Customer Service - you pay each time for buyer protection. When you need it, you get nothing and the worst customer service in history online.
I bought earpods that did not work. The Seller agreed to take them back - then I paid to send them back and I ended up paying shipping twice and returned the airpods but never received a refund. You pay to be protected but vinted just keeps that money - every time. Helping people scam and sell fake stuff online.

This is a very trustet and good platform to sell my used and other clothes that havn’t been used. It is so easy to sell and bit.

Stealing money, lying, slow asf and the worst cummonuty ever

Vinted is great for second hand shopping. It’s easy to find several versions of what you want and prices keep decent. As safe site to shop! 😊

My favorite app to use when trying to earn some money and free my house of stuff too. I have also bought lots of baby stuff with very good prices ♥️

Trustful and great app
I highly recommend to other without any doubt .

You can easily sell or buy stuff and that's great. But I miss the early days of vinted where postage fees and the bunch of other fees that you pay now were lower. The core part of vinted was that instead of wasting clothes you can sell them or buy cheap. But when the buyer pays more in fees than what the clothes cost.. it removes the whole purpose of it. I know developers have to make a living out of it but, I dont know find another way.

Easy to manage and set up your sales. Love that you don’t have to recalculate the shipping costs, Vinted have already fixed that for you. I’ve only had positive experience with the app :-)
