unfair business practices
I purchased an annual e‑vignette through Vintrica.com, but the purchase was completely unnecessary because my vehicle already has a valid vignette until September 2025. I provided official proof from the Slovenian DARS system. Despite this, Vintrica refuses to cancel the purchase, even though the vignette they registered is not active and will only become valid on 16 July 2026.
Their website shows “cancel” and “change” buttons that do not work – this is misleading commercial practice. Customer support relies on an incorrect legal reference and ignores the fact that the service has not been delivered. After I pointed this out, they stopped responding entirely.
My PayPal dispute was rejected because Vintrica provided incomplete information. I have now submitted the case to the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) due to clear unfair and deceptive business conduct.
My experience: misleading website, non-functioning cancellation options, incorrect legal arguments, refusal to communicate, and unfair business practices.
I do not recommend this service to anyone.

Please note that once an e-vignette has been registered with the respective toll operator, cancellations are generally no longer possible, even if the validity period begins at a later date. Likewise, changes to an existing order are only available if our Flex Service was purchased as part of the order. The applicable conditions are communicated during the ordering process.
