Useless company - claimed to have made a reservation and then it was 'unavailable' at the last minute. Increased costs and a total waste of time. Do not muse this company as service is terrible - I

Absolutely ruined the start of our honeymoon. Avoid at all costs.
I genuinely cannot put into words how stressful and upsetting our experience with VipCars was. My husband and I landed excited to begin our honeymoon, only to be left completely stranded at the airport with no way of collecting the car.
For hours, we tried calling and texting the supplier number THEY provided. No one answered. No one updated us. No one seemed to care.
To make matters worse, there were barely any places to sit outside the airport. I ended up sitting on the floor and on top of my suitcase for hours, which left me with severe back pain that I suffered with for the rest of our trip. That is not how anyone should begin their honeymoon.
Eventually, after endless unanswered calls and messages, we had no choice but to ask strangers for help. Imagine being in a foreign country, completely stranded, relying on people you have never met because the company you trusted has disappeared. As a woman, getting into a stranger's car, not knowing where I was being taken or who I was with, caused me incredible anxiety. Thankfully, the locals who helped us were kind and genuine, but we should never have been put in that position in the first place.
When we finally reached the rental office, things somehow got even worse. We were told that people had been waiting there since the early hours of the morning and still hadn't received their cars. There wasn't even a company employee or representative there, we were simply told they had all gone.
So there we were: on our honeymoon, stressed, exhausted, and watching the day disappear while the beautiful villa we had booked sat empty. Instead of enjoying the first day of our trip, we were forced to find another rental car at the last minute. It was ridiculously overpriced for the condition it was in, but we had no other choice.
With no help, no guidance, and no realistic alternative, we were forced to leave and travel to an entirely different rental company just to salvage what was left of our honeymoon. By that point, we had already lost hours of our day and were emotionally and physically exhausted. We had no opportunity to compare prices, inspect different vehicles, or make an informed decision, we simply had to accept whatever was available because we had no other way of reaching our accommodation. We ended up paying an outrageous amount for a car that was in poor condition, but after everything we'd already been through, it wasn't a choice; it was our only option.
Because of all the delays, we had to drive over an hour through the jungle in complete darkness just to reach our villa. What could have been a beautiful scenic drive during the day became one of the most stressful experiences I've had. The roads were pitch black, we had no idea where we were, and we spent over an hour driving in fear and anxiety.
To make matters even worse, we were pulled over by the police during that journey. Being in a foreign country, on dark roads, not knowing the laws or what would happen if we didn't comply, we ended up paying a hefty fine. As a woman already feeling vulnerable after everything that had happened, this only added to the distress.
After all of this, VipCars has refused to take meaningful responsibility. They simply point the finger at the rental company, as though they have nothing to do with it. But that is simply not acceptable. VipCars is the broker that advertises these companies, takes customers' money, and gives travellers confidence that a car will be waiting when they arrive. You cannot profit from the booking process and then disappear when everything goes wrong.
This wasn't just an inconvenience. It cost us precious time on our honeymoon, caused physical pain, emotional distress, unnecessary expenses, and turned what should have been one of the happiest days of our lives into an absolute nightmare.
And the reimbursement? It's basically non-existent. It's not even close to reflecting our experience or all the additional costs we had to carry.
If you value your holiday, your safety, and your peace of mind, I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

Another week goes by another promise of compensation fails to arrive.
Someone called Gary called me, once again on my wife’s number despite VIP being given my number on multiple occasions.
Gary promised the money was coming once again that was lies.
We were told we’d have a single point of contact that was also a lie.
It just goes on and on, disgraceful customer service approaching 4 MONTHS!
