We first met Nelson at a wedding fair over 2 years ago. We hadn’t heard of singing waiters before and straight away we knew it would be such a fun thing to have at our wedding. We booked a few days later.

We got to choose the song set that we wanted and Nelson was on hand to let us know what songs would work best.

On our big day Nelson did a fantastic job of making our guests believe he was a waiter at our wedding venue. He mingled with our guests and took the time to chat to people.

When it came to Nelson’s big moment, he ‘fell’ spectacularly, to the point even me and my husband were wondering if he had actually hurt himself. Many guests came to his aid and all of a sudden he stood up with a microphone in his hand and burst into song.

Nelson got literally every guest on their feet and everyone was having a fantastic time, dancing singing, napkin spinning and just having an absolutely fabulous time.

We are so glad we booked Nelson to perform at our wedding, it’s really not anything we had seen before and it made the usual lull between the wedding breakfast and evening reception so much fun.

We really cannot recommend Nelson enough and our guests have not stopped talking about what a great idea and how much fun they had.

On sunday 4th may nelson came to the old kent barn for the first time for my daughters wedding. It was a total shock and surprise for all of our when guests when nelson fell to the floor with his tray! The paramedics were nearly called as he put on such a realistic performance! He then burst into song and within seconds the whole wedding party was rocking! Faultless and totally made the day. I would not hesistate to book nelson to spice up your wedding breakfast and ensure the fun. Thank-you nelson so very much

Nelson talked everything through with me, asked what music I would like. Arrived early and left late . Got everyone up dancing. He came referred and I would have no hesitation on using him again.

Well what can I say! Nelson was absolutely amazing. From the moment he arrived to the moment he left, he was brilliant! So many guest complement how amazing he was and how well he interacted with everyone…. And this guy can sing! I never thought he would be able to get everyone, and I mean ‘everyone’ involved, but he did! I had reviewed sooo many ‘singing’ waiters before finding Nelson. Most were really expensive and very pushy and seemed to want to only communicate by email. As soon as Nelson called me back and we spoke on the phone, I knew he was the one for us. His passion just shone through and he absolutely loves what he does.. and he’s soooo good. Without a doubt Nelson made our wedding so memorable and just took the atmosphere to another level. If you are considering a singer waiter then look no further, he really does ‘bring the party’! BOOK HIM!!!

Nelson was booked as a surprise for my husband and did not disappoint! All the guests were shocked and he definitely got the party started so well for the evening! Can’t recommend enough.

Nelson truly shone like a star! My husband and I were already in the know, but we couldn't wait to see how everyone else would react. Where do I begin?! Nelson was incredible, and a very good actor I really thought he was hurt! I had no idea what was coming, only to find my bride had booked Nelson as a surprise and they got me good! He had every single person up on their feet, dancing and singing along. It was incredible. I cannot recommend Nelson enough, everyone has been talking about him since our wedding. It was memorable in the best of ways. 10 out of 10 Nelson, you were amazing!

Nelson was one of the best bits of the day! He was fantastic all day, blending in seamlessly with the other staff and the dramatic fall got everyone worried! The set was great, and got everyone of our guests joining in! Couldn't recommend the VIP waiters more, thanks Nelson!

Nelson was a last minute booking for our wedding after toying with the idea for several weeks and my god best decision we made!

Booked Nelson @VIPWaiters for my wedding in august 2024. My wife wanted a singing waiter but as a surprise i booked Nelson and downplayed it to her so she thought there wasn't going to be anything! Then after our sit down meal there was an almighty crash and bang and down goes Nelson! - He made it so convincing even i thought he was hurt (and i booked him!). - So convincing in fact, a guest of our wedding was a Nurse and offered him medical assistance.
Then out comes the microphone and the party really got started!

Nelson isn't just a sing-a-long for 30 mins, he's a full on entertainer with a great sense of humour and gets stuck-in with the venue's waiting staff throughout the day to blend in before the performance. He gets everyone joining in, singing, dancing, conga-lining, dirty-dancing lifting... It really got everyone going and on their feet. It is also safe to say that after Nelsons performance, I wasn't at all nervous about making my grooms speech as the whole room had just witnessed me sing a few lines of 'Wonderwall' in a key of my own!

Even now, a few months on from our wedding, Nelson's performance is one of the first things our friends and family mention when talking about our special day.

I can thoroughly recommend him for any wedding or other event to help make some lifelong memories!

Where do I even begin, from the moment I booked Nelson to the end of our wedding night he has been an absolute bundle of joy and a pleasure to work with. What makes him different from so many other singing waiters is his commitment to the act, he really had everyone fooled all day, with his knowledge of the drinks and canapés, his politeness and professionalism.

The actual performance itself was like a movie scene, he had everyone up singing and dancing and although it only lasted 30 or so minutes, it is all everyone talked about all day and set the perfect mood to get our party started in the evening. He stayed around for a little while after and mingled with guests and they relived the afternoon all over again.

If you are thinking of booking Nelson I’d tell you to do it 100000 times. It was easily the best decision we made.

Nelson was great fun and got the whole wedding up and on their feet.

Nelson came to our wedding as a surprise for our guests and was incredible! Shocked most of the guests and got everyone on the dance floor and singing along to his songs! Absolutely amazing and really added something special to the day

Was just the icing on the cake to an already awesome day! The guests were super surprised by the awesome surprise entertainment after the initial shock of a fake fall! Great singing and really got the guests in the party mood! Can not fault VIP waiters from start to finish, fab communication and very well organised!

We booked a number of entertainments for our wedding in August 2024. Nelson was easily the best act ... He got all of our guests (aged 10 to 80+) dancing, jumping, twirling, singing and joining the conga lines. His energy was contagious. He let us choose our songs and listened to our needs.
Everything was going well and people were happy enough ... but once Nelson crashed the party, it realy really got started. We have loads of photos of happy guests, twirling napkins. Hiring Nelson was one of our best decisions for the day. Highly recommended.

Nelson and his team are a fantastic addition to any special day. Not only are they talented singers, but amazing actors too! They completely change the atmosphere within the Wedding Breakfast and get the party started. They are interactive, fun and a real crowd pleaser. As a venue, Nelson and his team are easy to work with and we enjoy having VIP Waiters performing with us. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!

Well what can other than 5 stars 🌟

Nelson when I first met him I knew he was going to be fun, professional, and obviously charming.

When it got to the wedding day, the first time I saw him was when he greeted my husband and myself at the end of the aisle with a glass of champagne each. (My husband didn’t have a clue who Nelson was, as I booked it in secret)

He carried out the down serving canapés and being his fun professional self. Then when it was his time to shine at the end of the wedding breakfast he did just that. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment Nelson put on and I would 100% recommend him to anyone.
