I came here to have my wisdom teeth removed,
from the first day I was in excruciating pain and within the first week I called the office three different times to tell them it didn't feel right and each time I was told that the pain is completely normal and they wouldn't even consider seeing me. The first two times I called I only spoke to someone at the front desk and the third time I insisted I speak to a nurse. The nurse looked at my x-rays that were taken before my surgery and said there was no way it hit a nerve or anything because of where it was located so the pain I was feeling was normal and I should expect it for at least two weeks... On day eight of the pain I finally called my actual dentist who confirmed that my pain should not be what it was for that length of time and confirmed that I actually had dry socket that needed to be packed because the blood clot wasn't there and that's why I was in severe pain. If the office would have listened to me earlier and had just seen me for a post op appointment as a general precaution then I wouldn't have had to suffer for as long as I did. It just felt like the staff here did not care and weren't listening to my concerns, definitely an upsetting experience!

Dr. Gocke and his staff are top notch. They take care of all of us and get us in and out the door as soon as possible.

The procedure was completely painless, I was pleasant surprised how fast the whole process happened.

All with smiles and great humor! They also accommodated my frequent travel schedule and when I was out of the country for a month, Dr. Gocke kept in touch and answered my questions.

I was injured on 05/30/15.
Dr. Gocke's office arranged to have me see him on the morning of 06/01/15, after having spoken to him personally on 05/31/15 (a Sunday!).
Dr. Gocke performed surgery on 06/02/15 for a matter that was time-sensitive. I've been healing well since.

These folks are absolutely professional. The first visit addressed my needs, addressed a treatment plan and established a date and time for the needed procedure. On the date of the procedure, the team was punctual, put me at ease, performed the procedure flawlessly and walked me to my car. The discomfort I suffered was minimal and the procedure has worked as planned. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gocke and his team to anyone.

I went to this office on the basis of a recommendation from my endodontist. It was necessary to have an extraction and set an appointment for an implant in three months. I came for my appointment and only waited five minutes. The office personnell are efficient and friendly. Every thing was explained clearly and the extraction was not very painful. I only had to take one Tylenol that night and the pain had subsided
by the next morning. Dr.Gocke checked my mouth a week later and we have arranged an appointment for the implant in the summer. He is very professional as is his staff. I would highly recommend this office to any one who needs to have this type of dental work done.

My experience at Dr. Gocke's office for my initial visit, for my implant procedure, and for the post surgery visit were excellent. The staff was very professional and explained the procedure I would undergo completely, and answered all questions I asked. I found Dr. Gocke to be professional in all aspects of the process. But the doctor's friendly demeanor put me at ease from the outset. I experienced minimal discomfort after the procedure and was very pleased with the outcome.

I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted and I had the best experience at Virginia Oral Facial and Implant Surgery. Dr. Gocke is the best he did the greatest job and his nurses were sweet and comforting. He definitely knows what he's doing. I was well informed on how to care for my mouth after surgery and I had no problems. Him and his team made me comfortable the whole time I was there and I was pretty scared so that was no easy feat. And as an added bonus he's also very good looking.
