I am currently unable to redeem my merlin vouchers online. Email support has been slow and unhelpful. I am yet to reach any resolution.

I received a Virgin Incentives gift card as a reward and I love how simple it was to redeem!
The gift card also provides amazing flexibility, meaning I can use my reward in a way that is suitable for me.

Great service/product and superb value for money. We purchased vouchers to reward staff for long service awards and they were very well received. Highly recommend.

Totally inept.
As the previous reviewer, our experience with Virgin Incentives has us climbing the walls!!
We used to use Barclaycard Reward Points to buy wines from Laithwaites. Then Barclaycard went to a new system where you get Virgin Incentive Gift Cards to use on various 'gifts', including Virgin Wines, instead. Ok so that's the way it's going to be.
Barclaycard obligingly sent us £100 worth of the so called 'Gift Cards.' As instructed we went to register them for Virgin Wines on the website. This had to be done in 4 x £25 lots (why?). For some reason we couldn't register the last one.
Whilst debating what to do about this, Virgin abruptly cancelled the whole lot and told us to contact 'the gift purchaser as our money would be refunded!!!' As we didn't purchase anything and no money has changed hands, what are we supposed to do?
Barclaycard sent us the cards as requested.
That was all 5 weeks ago and Virgin's laughingly called customer service has been less than absolutely useless.
We've just gone round and round in circles, ending today with 'you'll need to contact Barclaycard and thanks a lot but don't call us and we won't bother to call you either.
As far as we're concerned Virgin have purloined £100 from us by cancelling gift cards already received. I don't see how they can 'give it back' to Barclaycard.
Anyone from Virgin Incentives reading this, please do let me have your comments. Any businesses on here thinking of using this scheme then think again if you don't want your customers gong up the wall!!
Deserves less than zero
I have stepped into the stinking quicksand that is Virgin Incentives: beware! Read about my nightmarish experience and keep your money safe!
I have been buying Virgin Wines gift cards via an online broker for years without problems. Previously I could unseal it, give the details to my wine advisor and order wine. It was straightforward.
Yesterday the broker didn't do that. Instead they redirected me to Virgin Incentives with a link entitled, "revealyourgift" but the "gift" is about as welcome as acute Genital Herpes.
I spent all day yesterday trying to work out how to get some wine with it. In the end, customer support at the broker had to send me a link to click on because Virgin Incentives UI is incomprehensible and the UX sucks massively. Who's in charge there? Noddy & Bigears?
I've got piles that are more useful than this Virgin Incentive service - it doesn't even work properly! The site won't process transactions today and you can't ring them because all communication is done through email. It's an incentive to go elsewhere, is what it is...
They have £200 worth of my money tied up in a useless Virgin Incentive gift card.
In summary: Virgin is a tarnished brand. The trains, planes and broadband are all rubbish. This Virgin Incentives fiasco is yet another symptom of failure and contempt for customers...
Leisure vouchers obsolete
Phoned premier inn chester before checking in. (To verify I could use the voucher) Checked in to chester railway premier inn and was told they do not accept the vouchers. (Explained the terms and conditions do not state this) hotel argued that they don't accept. Please anyone reading do not try to use at a premier inn as they do not accept leisure vouchers anymore! Leisure vouchers website needs to be updated
Complete Scam!
Complete Scam!
Received multiple cards as a gift, as I have gone to use them I've been repeatedly told they were declined or unable to be accepted etc
Practically impossible to access the money on the cards.

I asked a simple question which required a simple yes or no answer. Instead have been given the run around for two weeks.
And now they just ignore emails.
Terrible!!

Still haven’t received the vouchers and it’s 2 weeks!!!
Beware Plastic LeisureVouchers Giftcard
Received a plastic Leisure Voucher Giftcard from my cousin for a special anniversary. Wanted to use it at Beefeater who say on their website that you can use this card for payment off your meal. Tried to use the card in Devon & Llantrisant & told by mangers that they do not accept the card as their is no chip on it so they have no way of swiping the card or knowing how much is on it. Emailed Virgin Incentives basically, got fobbed off by a member of staff so rang them & guess what?? Fobbed off by them too. I wanted to exchange my plastic voucher for a paper one & was politely told that they are phasing out the paper vouchers!!! Good luck with that then!!! As of 28th June I have been able to spend my voucher a very helpful member of Virgin Incentive staff sorted this all out for me & gave me an extra £15 on my card. However, buyer beware don't buy these cards as they are so difficult to use. I got lucky with mine.
My elder mum bought leisure gift card…
My elder mum bought leisure gift card as a gift for me. She is a pensioner and not very good on computers. It was for me to use at premier inn but turns out you can only use paper vouchers there and not gift cards. E-mailed to ask if they could hep ie: swap them for paper vouchers. They were of no help at all, and basically said hard luck. So my mum has wasted £200. They have now missed out on future purchases as she would have bought all my family these, but not now. shame on them robbing a pensioner
