The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even upgraded our car from the one we had originally booked. I definitely recommend renting a car when in Puglia/Brindisi and definitely recommend Vivarent for it.

Smooth Rental Experience with Viva Rent

Rented a car from Viva Rent, picked up in Sorrento and dropped off at Napoli Airport. Everything went smoothly—clear communication and easy process.

The car was in fair condition, with some scratches (typical for Italy). Staff at both locations were helpful and accommodating. I had a bit of trouble finding the Napoli drop-off, but they guided me patiently - thanks Martina. The airport shuttle was quick and efficient.

Overall, a solid experience. Would rent again.

When we came to airport, pick up was very fast, very kind staff. No problems at all. Also getting contract and car, was very fast and smooth. Extremly profesional, they send us contract with photos of the car per mail immediatly.
Same procedure when we returned the car, few minutes all done and then they drove us back to airport.

Upon returning the car, I was charged 550 euros for minor damage of rims. I didn't have time or energy to argue and the guy told me I can submit an insurance claim since I bought the insurance with the rent. However, I am unable to submit the claim without itemized receipt for the damage and the company just ghosts me. It's been 2 weeks and I still didn't receive the paperwork. Such scam. Take 1000 of pics of your rental car before you drive off otherwise you will pay big bucks

VivaRent is the best rental company my husband and I ever dealt with. The location is very convenient; the cars are new and clean; the process of signing documents is standard and easy. The important part of our amazing experience was Giuseppe who helped us all along the way. He was very attentive, friendly and extra helpful.
The company also offers several insurance options and the conditions are great. And of course, the prices are more than fair.

Good experience with vivarent, i arrived very late to naples airport, so i did a self car pickup the instructions were very clear, the car was waiting in the airport parking, i received a video showing how to get to the car, i got a toyota aygo X clean car, with small scratches but doesn’t matter as the car run fine for me. And the restitution was in sorrento a little organisation problem with the different agencies but it was quickly solved.

The attendant at the front desk was very helpful. They were prepared for our Toyota reservation, but we had booked a Fiat 500 instead. They changed the reservation quickly, and everything went smoothly. The car was in good condition. It could have been slightly cleaner, but that's a minor detail. I recommend them.

Best car rental firm I've used. Car was a little cosmetically knocked when we picked it up (Naples driving!!!) which made us so much more relaxed vs the immaculate cars you pick up knowing any spec of dirt is going to cause a problem at drop off. The pick up (after hours) was super simple, the price was amazing, the car was fab (fiat 500 soft top) and the drop back there was zero nonsense that you usually get with car hire firms! Will 100% use again

WARNING : VERY DANGEROUS & SCAM

We arrived at the agency at midnight after our flight - with a late check-in fee of course-. From there, we only had problems.
- First, the car didn’t have any motor oil in when they gave it to us, and the guy couldn’t do anything about it as he was only the night guardian. We had to drive a car WITHOUT motor oil to go get some, which is extremely dangerous et properly intolerable when renting a car.
- The windshields wipers didn’t work and there was no liquid, resulting in a very poor visibility ; again extremely dangerous and unacceptable for a rental car.
These were the initial problems, but we didn’t want them to ruin our vacation so we managed with them anyways, even though it could have been fatal.
But it doesn’t stop there!! 3 days after the beginning of the rental, we had planned a day-trip so we woke up at 7 to take the car…. only to find out we couldn’t turn it on.
We managed to find a mechanician who started the battery again and didn’t charge us anything, but he warned us : the battery should have been changed a long time ago and if we don’t change it now, the car will not turn on again next time.
So we had to go to the nearest viva rent office, having already lost over an hour. When we arrived there, I explained all the problems thinking they would obviously give us another car and offer monetary compensation. But they did no such thing. They took the car in for repairs having us wait over an hourd and a half. And there wasn’t even any liquid for the wipers when we finally got it back.
Overall, we lost 4 hours. At this point, I was very angry against Vivarent as nothing they did was worthy of a professional rental agency. But I saw a sign in Cassino saying « Customer service of the year 2025 », so I thought they would offer a satisfying compensation.
Let me tell you this : they did NOT. They didn’t offer anything and don’t even answer our texts anymore. This is scandalous, viva rent is a scam and I advise you against it 100%, exception if you want your car rental to constantly break down. Terrible experience, probably the worst in terms of car rentals.

Some small companies can be sometimes bad surprises. This one was not.

Everything was great.
First I did not have to contact the team to get the car, I received a phone call right after my landing and was immediately picked up.

The car was almost new and with 4 doors instead of 3.

The team was nice, smiling and helpful and with a good level of english.

The facility is very closer to the airport and also close to a gazoline station which make things easy to fill up the tank before the check out.

I would definitly recommend this small agency.
