Using unauthorised images

Using unauthorised images!

I don't know this company but was warned that my holiday rental was listed on their site. I checked and it was. The images have clearly been lifted from an authorised site along other details now significantly out of date. I don't get any enquiries from Vivaweek. I entered my own enquiry to see if it would be sent on to me - it wasn't. Anybody seeing my house there and enquiring, will receive no response. This makes me look bad. If potential renters then see my house on a legitimate site they are unlikely to enquire again.

I emailed Vivaweek asking why they were listing my house. They replied by saying that they had now changed my email address. I can see no connection between my question and their answer.

The unauthorised use of my images is copyright theft. This clearly doesn't worry Vivaweek which gives some insight into their honesty and ethical standards.

Vivaweek: 55% of users had a BAD experience - I did too. Stay away from Vivaweek property rentals. Scammers.

55% of users had a bad experience. Take the hint. They are the Donald Trump of property rental sites.

More than half of all clients think they had BAD experience with this company. Not just 2 star poor but 1 star BAD.

In my first year of membership I received ZERO enquiries. Not one. Rien, nada, niente, zip! When they are selling you to join their site they promote the effectiveness of their site but it does not deliver.

I was not going to renew and the company automatically debited the second year of membership. No reminder nothing. Oddly a few months ago I got one tiny weeny enquiry - probably a fake from Vivaweek - of course it lead to nothing.

This what I paid Vivaweek:

20/05/2019 A-GB2019000001 249,00 €
24/02/2018 A-GB2018000001 249,00 €

So close to 500 Euros over two years for one enquiry that lead to nothing.

The same house, same photos, same rates on other property rental sites however, do generate enquiries and rentals.

All positive reviews they receive always seem to land on the same day. I wonder why? Be suspicious of those. They were probably written by Vivaweek.

Stay away. Or if you like spending money for nothing try them.

P.S Rather than spending time contesting my reviews on Trustpilot (and every other site I can find) Vivaweek should simply try some decent customer service and refund me the automatically taken Euros for autorenewal of their last annual fee. That would be a quick solution.

P.P.S Better still just create a website that works and delivers enquiries to home owners who pay your fee.
