Disappointing quality and serious concerns about product safety
I purchased the VIVÉA anti-choking device for €49.95 after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. Such a scam! As a mother of a 16-month-old toddler, I wanted an additional safety device to have at home in case of a choking emergency.
Unfortunately, what I received was extremely disappointing!
The device arrived in a basic, plastic shipping bag, inside a cheap, small yellow pouch, with generic instructions in English. There was no separate sealed hygienic packaging, no clearly identifiable manufacturer, and no accompanying documentation demonstrating compliance with applicable EU medical device regulations.
The overall quality of the device appears poor, and I have serious doubts about the reliability of its suction mechanism and one-way valve. I have no intention of testing an unverified device on my child during a life-threatening emergency.
I also noticed that the company requires customers to return products to China at their own expense, despite marketing the product to European consumers and advertising a money-back guarantee. Not to mention their fake reviews on their website.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product. I would strongly encourage other parents to carefully verify the manufacturer's credentials, regulatory documentation, and product safety before purchasing.
