Health visibility like no other

I've been using Vively with a glucose monitor now for about 20 days and it feels like months with the insights I've gained. One example: I've been doing daily fasts for about 18 months but it was the Vively app which made me realise all that work was for nothing since my morning coffee with a little milk was breaking that fast every day! I love the "gamification" insights area which gives you a wellness score based on 5 key metrics against how others in the community are scoring. Everything about the setup motivates me to keep up the areas I'm scoring well and work on the work-ons. What could be a better outcome than your health?

Vively has been an incredible tool for me during my perimenopause journey. Like many women, I’ve struggled with weight gain during this phase, but monitoring my glucose levels has helped me reset my metabolism and become more mindful of what I eat.

The best (and toughest) part? No more sneaky snacks without consequences—this app keeps me accountable by showing exactly how my choices affect my body. It’s been eye-opening and empowering!

Very Limited

Have been using the app for 1 month.

Positives: it gives easy access to CGM purchase.
It imports exercise data from Garmin well and gives good tracking of exercise vs glucose.
That's it!
Negatives: import of food from MyFitnessPal is useless - it imports to the wrong time zone and at the wrong time (even accounting for zone). It typically imports each item as a separate meal. Often missing some so that randomly another item may arrive later. There then maybe 5 items to reallocate to a new time; but once the first once is moved, the apps says "the time slot" is used and so you are unable to reallocate the remainder of the meal.
The inefficient alternative is then to add meals manually to the app (from a limited list of ingredients compared to MyFitnessPal). Even on doing this, randomly the app would decide this addition sometimes matched with CGM data and give glucose response/meal analysis; other times it would decide no glucose data was available and not do a meal analysis (even though it is a "Continuous" GM and data is shown in the graph!?).
My only reason for continuing with the app would be for future CGM purchases and the link with exercise. The rest to too buggy.

Avoid if you are in the UK

There is alot to like about this app in concept.. But it's execution is poorly lacking in the UK and I would suggest avoiding until it has been updated significantly.

The pros- good data visualisation that is far superior to the libreapp itself and helps you understand your highs and lows more effectively as a non diabetic.. Concepts such as cycle mapping, nutritionist support and exercise mapping is great.

But the cons: much of this is so clunky to log and review. There are regular data gaps where the data feed hasn't worked, and if it does come over it.can have up to 2 hours delay. Tracking food properly is a nightmare as the food database is Australian...no barcodes work for uk food and even common brands of food not avalible. Nutritionist support is delayed and unhelpful. The support team are friendly but it's always "sorry for your experience" and not much getting sorted. They are also based away from the UK so there is no regular support on UK waking hours.

For £40 a month, (not including nutrionist support) on top of.thr cost of your CGM...I think this is incredibly poor service.

Have I learnt through using the app.. Yes. But it has been a poor experience and not at all worth the money I have spent, and I will be deleting from.my.phone..

Disappointed

A lot of promise and very little delivered. The cgm is great but best read in its own app as the data is very delayed into the Vively app so becomes pretty irrelevant. After 2 weeks you are left with a Vively app where you can record your meals (clunky and time consuming) that get a grade (but since the grading was pretty poor with the cgm you can’t trust it). You get a report after the cgm expires, it is pretty generic and not helpful. I definitely would not recommend Vively - if you want a cgm order directly from Libre.

The app is pretty good

The app is pretty good. A few minor irritations: sometimes a custom food accidentally saves before I’ve finished adding nutritional information, and you can’t edit it once that happens. A confirmation button would probably help with that.

The Libre 2 sensor was painless to apply. 7 days in and it’s still working as it should. I tend to avoid getting it wet or sleeping on it, so maybe that helps? I know some people have had trouble with it, based on reviews I’ve read. Have just ordered another one (a quick and easy process through the app), so I guess I’ll see if that reliability continues.

On the whole, I’d recommend Vively. One month of monitoring and you’ll know what food is good for your glucose reaction, and what isn’t, so you can make wiser choices!

Vively is a great

Vively is a great opportunity to get to understand what impacts your food choices have on your glucous levels. You get to make changes with the 14 days and beyond to see the impacts, which is also great. The a.i tool is great if you want to understand something straight away. Getting 1.1 time with your team member is also great if you opt into the subscription with is not badly priced for the quarter, my only wish would be that you were given more time back and forth waiting for guidance til the next day is not enough.

Revealing glucose spikes

I found the CGM real time data invaluable, as I was able to adjust my food intake to avoid Hypoglycaemia episodes. I usually eat a Mediterranean diet, but it was good to see which foods spiked for me and didn’t spike for my partner.

FINALLY I KNOW

This App, used in conjunction with a glucose monitor, gives deep insights into how diet, lifestyle and stress all play a role in glucose levels. I have battled many years with high triglyceride levels and most doctors focus solely on diet (some to the point of accusing me of lying about my food choices). I still have a way to go but at least now I know what parts of my life I really need to focus on.

Over promising & under delivering

Over promising & under delivering!
Buyer beware …. Active glucose tracking is only for a 2 week period the balance of 10 weeks is implementing improvements (to diet & lifestyle).
A lot of marketing for purchasing extras to assist in implementing improvements (without measurement unless you want to invest in another additional monitor).
Watch out for auto renewals of subscriptions, which will not be refunded.
A lot of expense for very little value.

I’ve made changes that Charlotte the dietician has recommended. Within 2 months my numbers shifted and I’m heading in the right direction.
