Positive experience with the Vivid customer support
I recently encountered an issue during IBAN verification of my bank account by a third-party company. I asked Vivid for assistance in a live chat. The representative was friendly and patient. They asked me to provide screenshots from the verification process. It turned out that the problem was with the external company. Vivid pointed me to a document that confirms the legitimacy of my account. In summary I'm very satisfied with the Vivid support.

Inexistent support
Today I tried to make an online payment with my vivid card.
I chose the confirmation by SMS, as I always do, as I don't have the app.
The payment fails all the time.
I contact support, someone (let's call him "Z") takes my case. The person leaves you waiting for long periods, not even answering the messages. After spending all the afternoon with this unbelievably unprofessional person, just before ending the shift, tells me the login problem is now solved (I never had a login problem and let them know from the beginning) and asks me to provide again all the information! He did nothing! I cannot believe in vivid they put this kind of people in support. Really shameful.

My experience with Vivid is great, good service, good support.
My experience with Vivid is comparable to Revolut but Revolut has one nice-to-have feature, burner virtual cards. Compared to Revolut I missing this feature most.

4+ months blocked funds and broken promises – Avoid Vivid Money
I have been a customer since 2025 and never had any issues until February 2026.
On 4 February 2026 my account was suddenly blocked due to a chargeback from a private sale of a camera. I immediately provided all proof of the legitimate transaction (photos, correspondence with buyer, sale confirmation, etc.).
What followed was months of frustration:
Vivid set a 3-month review period (until 4 May 2026)
Then extended it by another 3 weeks (until ~25 May)
On 27 May 2026 their Compliance team officially approved the withdrawal of €4,590.22
A few days later they reversed the approval without any new justification
17 June 2026 they informed me that the funds will be held for another 6 months (total almost 10 months)
Despite full cooperation and providing all requested documents multiple times, Vivid continues to withhold my money with generic replies and no concrete timeline.
I have filed a formal complaint (CT-6243) and escalated the case to BaFin and am preparing a complaint to CSSF (Luxembourg).
Conclusion:
If you value access to your own money — do not use Vivid Money for anything serious. They can lock your funds for many months (or longer) even after approving withdrawal. Extremely poor customer service and unfair practices.
I will update this review if/when the funds are finally released.
