Does what it’s suppose to do with the living room light.

The smart plug works exactly as you might expect. So far it seems reliable and fairly quick to respond to commands. When first adding the device to your Vivint panel, there is a switch on the lamp module to select Switch (simple on/off) or Dimmer. This is great because we love to dim our lamps, but some people may be using this for an appliance where you can’t dim and need simple on/off control. The possibilities are endless. A status LED on the lamp module shows blue when it is powered on so you can quickly see the status. Pairing was super smooth; after asking Vivint to unlock the Installer Toolbox we were able to add the lamp module from the Z-wave “Add Node” area. Very happy with this lamp module - works as described.
Not really sure what this those besides send a signal.
