It’s working so that’s awesome! Can’t say much about it as it was just installed. I do feel more at ease having it
I am 100% satisfied with the eight Vivint smoke/CO detectors installed in my home by the Vivint technician. Each detector is doing its job well, is connected to the cloud, and is monitored by the monitoring service. No detector has quit or malfunctioned, unlike the 'dumb' detectors I previously used, some of which constantly chirped. The 5-year lithium batteries were a major feature for my decision to buy the Vivint detectors. I'm 75 and feared falling off the 8-foot ladder while struggling to change the 9V batteries for the cranky old dumb detectors annually.
Working fine I guess
Definitely more efficient than the older battery powered ones that you buy at Ace or Home Depot.We didn't mind paying extra for the new efficiencies but we did mind paying the $99 extra for a technician when I had a general contact here working on our house that would do it for free. Overall tho the device is very good.

It works with low temp and smoke.
Great product. Sometimes disconnects from hub, hub reset fixes the issue.
The Vivint installer replaced my old smoke detector with this new CEO smoke detector in the same location. He should have been more aware that since this was next to a restroom that the steam from the bathroom would set off this detector when the door is open. The detect the CO detector also keeps going off-line for some reason.
Evidently, it has a shelf life of five years but otherwise appears to work quite well.
