Love it I can arm and disarm my home with the snap of a finger

No way to mount the pin pad unless you use the 3M tape on the back. Uses 4 AA batteries to power the device (I don't know of anyone who is going to want to have to be replacing batteries on a regular basis to ensure that their security pin pan is working when they need to use it; this definitely needs a way to be able to recharge, like a usb-c port with power cord or another power supply to be able to recharge the battery). Also there is no way to know when the AA batteries need to be replaced except by viewing the pin pad options in the Vivint app (batteries are at 67% after only 20 days, which goes back to needing a rechargeable battery & power source) . It would also be nice to have a way to voice active the pin pad if one is unable to reach it (or access the Vivint app) if the alarm is triggered accidentally or in emergencies. This is a very basic pin pad that corresponds with Vivint's security system. All options for the pin pad such as downcast light, button sounds, wake on approach, battery level, beep alert can only be accessed and changed via the Vivint app.

Not super user friendly. Gets set off pretty frequently. The idea is great and I feel secure but the alarm often goes off on household members

I like the keypad, it's easy to use and it has a light. I will try it more and see if I change my viewpoint.

Works well and does what was advertised. The only con that I have noticed is the color codes - they don’t help much when one is color blind. I would prefer LED lights that show the status.

keypad is easy to operate and very straight forward. It is receptive and easy to use. Really don't need a book to learn to use it. Very easy to understand how to disarm unit and put it in home, away or off mode.

This keypad is compact (approximately 6" x 3"), making it easy to mount near an entry door for convenient access. As you approach the pad, the 'Stay,' 'Away,' and three emergency buttons will illuminate, along with a light on the bottom of the unit—green indicating not armed and red indicating armed and away. It emits an audible tone when numbers are pressed to confirm input. So far, it has performed as expected.

Simple, easy to use. Does what is expected. It's not anything fancy, which I believe is the intent of it.

The glass break seems too sensitive.

This product is okay, but I would like a second controller rather than the keypads

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I would give a zero if I could. This is a piece of crap. I have had other keypads with another system and you know what, you add it and it worked but NOT with this. I had to delete it and re-add it and it worked for a day then quit working again. I haven’t had this but about a month and I regret buying it.

At first when I saw how small it was and it didn’t have a screen like my last one I wasn’t sure. But now I find it so easier than my last panel I like this so much better
