I had seen this course come up a few times and a few teaching colleagues had done it, so I thought it time to do it myself. I found that this course was perfect for the place I am currently in, in my teaching career. It deepend my understanding across a variety of areas and complimented the holistic approach I already have in my singing teaching.

The course is a holsitic yet comphrehensive course that you would not be able to find a lot in the web. It provides you with the necessary framework and tools to potential identify vocal problems and suggestions to improve user's voice.

Absolutely love this course, it was very informative and interesting. Only issue I had was I found some of the questions quite open and this made it a little confusing but after getting a tutorial I completely understood how to get through those questions I originally found difficult.

A wonderful, interesting and novel course given by a variety of voice and vocal health specialists all at the top of their game. Holistic, all-encompassing and presented in listenable and clear videos with corresponding downloadable slides. Be prepared to put the work in though because there is a LOT of information! However, for anyone interested in and concerned by vocal health and healthy vocal technique it is all so fascinating and useful that it is impossible not to want to put the work in! I have already felt the benefits of the course on my singing and teaching. I highly recommend this course. Thank you VHE!

Completing the Vocal Health First Aider course was exactly the next step I needed in my development and certification process! All of the videos were extremely clear, engaging and full of important material. I would highly recommend the Vocal Health First Aider Course for ALL voice/singing teachers to continue learning from evidence based practices.

VHFA is a fantastic course. It shows how to deal with possible singing problems from many different perspectives. Always singer-centered and giving the singing teacher tools that help him to assess singing problems more easily and to clearly find professional boundaries and decide if "only" the singing teacher should "work" here. Networking with ENT, Laryngologists, SLP, Physiotherapists, Dentists can be of great help and will take away pressure from the singing teacher. Very well worked out is the connection between physical, social and psychological aspects in the singer's personality.

I am at the end of the Vocal Health First Aid course. I think that the course wonderfully shows the perspective of a holistic view of the human voice. It perfectly organizes knowledge from many areas of human life, puts them in the right herarchy and gives practical tools for recognizing possible voice dysfunctions as well as precise strategies of action. I heartily recommend it to everyone, regardless of their level of advancement. Although I must admit that if I had taken this course at the beginning of my journey as a vocal coach, it would have been much easier for me. What I missed was the opportunity to actually discuss substantive doubts which, although the course was presented very clearly, still appeared.

The VHE first aid course is a well structured, wide ranging training from a number of different voice professionals in a very accessible format. The eight part programme, with sensibly sized videos and a final face to face session that consolidates learning, is delivered at a pace that is easily incorporated into a busy working schedule. I had a glitch on accessing the course and there was immediate support from VHE, which was greatly appreciated. I have learned so much and feel more informed and better prepared and will certainly continue with VHE. A lot of wisdom is shared on this course and I would recommend the vocal health first aid course to all.

Definitely one of the best courses I have attended; it was really well structured and very informative. Even though there are many topics, the workload was never daunting. After completing it, I feel it massively enhanced my teaching skills. Would strongly recommend to any music teacher or professional.

I've now completed the vocal health first aider course and the vocal habilitation professional course and I can honestly say I think both of these courses are game changers. They challenge, inspire, encourage and engage a wide range of voice users, teachers, coaches etc and give you both an in-depth exploration and a wide variety of topics with which to engage. The range of presenters, their individual delivery styles mean there is something for everyone here who is curious about the voice and determined to extend and develop their own expertise. These are course which encourage full commitment and there is some flexibility in the timings of your study. It is very good value for money, in my opinion, and I recommend the curious voice user/teacher/therapist/coach to join in the development of skills, processes and mindset. Uncover what you've always known intuitively, develop those areas about which you feel uncertain and engage in your own journey to the benefit of all around you. Good luck!

Vocal Health Education changed the way I see and feel about singing and teaching in the best way! I took their Vocal Health First Aider course and absolutely loved it! Not only did I feel more motivated to hone my craft of singing more, but I learned valuable skills that I can take to my vocal students and ensure they sing with safety, and health in mind while having the best time. This gives me an advantage over other vocal coaches and performers that I will take with me throughout my life. For this, I can't thank you enough VHE! You rock!

Only suggestion would be to put all course documents in one pdf, so they could be downloaded and printed at once.

The Vocal Health First Aid course has been one of the best CPD courses I have done (quite a few). I thought the structure was well done, the content was very relevant and the presenters were great at getting to the point quite quickly. It's given me confidence to address vocal health issues with an array of tools. Really useful overall and highly recommended. The whole experience felt very professional and I really enjoyed the 'time pressure' (6 weeks). I find it's very easy to start an online course and allow far more time to pass before completing it. this way I made sure I committed to it and I absorbed the knowledge far better.

I learnt such a lot about the voice and what can be done as a vocal health first aider to help and support a voice user based on a wealth of expert information, given in short, accessible units.

This course does a great job of pulling together information from a number of difference voice professionals. It was informative, practical and comprehensive. I, like another reviewer, have had quite a bit of previous training in anatomy/physiology, voice care and yoga and this course, in addition to providing new insights, has helped me to focus and consolidate my learning.

The VHFA course was incredibly detailed and comprehensive. The amount of information provided in such a short course is daunting at first but the way the course is delivered make it easily digestible.
This course is essential for all young singers and for teachers who are looking to make a difference with their pupils.
