I cannot even begin to tell you how fantastic Carmen is as a vocal coach, nor could I tell you how much I recommend her service. I have been coached by various teachers on and off and I can honestly say that my session with Carmen was the best I’ve had; not only did I feel I learned a lot more during our session than compared with sessions I have had with other coaches, but what really made Carmen’s session stand out is the level of care she puts in - she really has an enthusiasm to see each of her students grow and develop as an artist. She takes time to learn the goals of each client and works with them in a way tailored to their needs and objectives.
As well as being a fantastic singer herself, and someone who is incredibly well trained - a talent she brings to each session - outside of our sessions, Carmen sets me ‘homework’ which shows me that she is passionate about what her students do outside of her lessons, as well as in. This homework follows on from what we have done during the session and is incredibly helpful and something which fills in the gap between your vocal sessions.
Carmen is a fun and enthusiastic teacher, something which is reflected in her vocal sessions, which I absolutely love! I genuinely could not recommend Carmen enough to anyone of any skill level who wishes to develop and grow on their vocal journey.

My son joined Vocal Vitality's singing academy 4 years ago and loves it so much that now his sister, brother, cousin and 2 friends are regulars. In that time I have watched them all grow in confidence and vocal ability; even my shy 8 year old joined them on stage for his first solo performance last week. The academy is relaxed and fun, with a combination of games and songs - Susan is brilliant at building confidence in all children, and I love the fact that whilst she is undoubtedly an accomplished vocal coach, there isn't a whiff of 'stage school kids' precocity about it. There is a concert each term where all children have the opportunity to sing as part of a group, or individually - my daughter was very nervous about the thought of performing when she joined 2 years ago, but now performs solo with great confidence. Susan also coaches individually to a high standard. So I would recommend Vocal Vitality whether you are somebody who wants to sing songs (the group do a range of pop songs, movie hits, and stage hits) and have fun; through to children/teenagers who are serious about developing their vocal and performing skills.
